It is time for the upcoming Friendship Games against their long time rivals, Crystal Prep Academy. But, when the Magic Mirror in Equestria begins acting strangely and traps Kion and Twilight at Canterlot High, the rest of the Lion Guard come on over in an effort to figure out what happened. Along the way, they meet up with Sunset Shimmer and the Rainbooms, who are also struggling to understand how the magical "pony-ups" work.

As if preparing for the games and trying to launch the investigation isn't enough, their discovery has come to them discover that the two curious also investigating the magic mystery happen to be both... Twilight Sparkle and Kion's alternate human forms.

In the battle of competition, who will win? Or will whatever strange magic flowing around will cause more problems and uncover something that might be too powerful and sinister for both the new Twilight and Kion to handle?

A celebration was to be held in the Crystal Empire for the 5th anniversary of the kingdom's return, but something stopped anypony from reaching the northern kingdom. Heavy snow blocked the tracks that lead north, causing delays to come to Equestria's railways. And for most, this would put a major damper on the party plans. But as the ruler of the Crystal Empire, Princess Cadence would not let this stop her kingdom from being celebrated. And so, with the help of a friend, she sets of in search of an answer. But the answer she gets, is not what she was thinking of.

The City of Caracas, Venezuela, has been under a lot of pressure after the new government has decided to force itself on the population. The new government, lead by a rural man that lived on the mountainous and distant Táchira that had nothing to do with the Caracas elite, gaining their complete disdain for a man that came by force instead of votes.

Then came the earthquake of 1900 which destroyed much of the city and, in the midst of the rubble a little foal was found. What made this foal so unique was the little horn on her head, gaining much of the world's attention and giving the Venezuelan president something new to think about as he tries to fix an already destroyed country that he also helped to ruin.

This is the story of the unicorn raised by the andeans and how she would reshape the country.
