This story is a sequel to Desert Getaway

Set in the Pandemic Universe

All actions have reactions, even if they're not always obvious.

Almost a year has passed since Sapphire Sky, a pegasus from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, brought forth a powerful rain storm that tore through the desert ghost town of Mesa Verde, but also reinvigorated it’s growth into a proper Oasis. In that time new friendships and families have started, and for the first time in a long time things started to feel normal again. For Silver Eclipse, his decision to forgive and move on from the Great Storm paved the way towards an unexpected friendship— a friendship that brought on so many new and exciting adventures in his and Scarlet’s lives.

This is a story about family and friendship, and the new and exciting adventures it can bring to one’s life.

Rainbow Dash is dead.

Scootaloo knows this, but that does not mean she will accept it. Equestria is a land of magic and hope—what is one more miracle among hundreds? This is the question that drives her forward when she stumbles upon a Daring Do book that seemingly shows her a means of bringing back the dead. Driven by painful memories and a desperation to make up for her own mistakes, Scootaloo ventures on a quest to bring her fallen idol back to the land of the living. Embarking on a journey far from the world they know, Scootaloo and her friends find the line between fact and fiction—reality and delusion—blurring with each step.

Originally envisioned and published in 2012. Resurrected in 2019. Be wary of potential spoilers in the comments

This story is a sequel to Missed Stop, Monstrous Meeting

You are a unicorn stallion who has just arrived on the Haywaiian Isles by airship to gather some research for your next book. As you step off the ramp, a few pounds lighter after the wobbly ride, you meet your tour guide and begin your exploration across the islands.

While the diamond dog by the name of Holly might be your tour guide, there are other interesting characters that await you here in Haywaii. Some of which can be pretty intimidating. Enjoy your stay.

Note: It needs to be noted that I do consider the story: Somewhere, Beyond the Sea, by Lupine Infernis to be canon with this story/universe, so if you don't wish to spoil that story for yourself, please go ahead and read it and come back here. You will understand why. :raritywink:

Of course, if you don't want to, then you don't have to. It is merely a suggestion.

My good friend, Quillian Inkheart, was a big help when it came to working on the Haywaiian setting. In addition to his advice he also preread and edited the story for me.:pinkiehappy:

The story was proofread by: ShadowblazeCR.

The cover art was created by: Pigeonsmall, who did a really awesome job with the artwork.

Here is a link to an image of the main shark mare of the story: Jagged Nibble. Drawn by Grim_Grin and colored in GIMP by yours truly.

As you can see, FiMFiction needs more shark pony stories and I am more than happy to oblige.:raritywink:

Fluttershy has seen and learned about many different types of animals. At the same time, there were many she didn't know. Now she would discover one of those creatures she's never seen.

Actually, it was probably a creature nopony's ever seen. It looked like a pony, but to Fluttershy, behaved like an animal. After all, she felt the same joy around it that she felt with all her critters. But what was it?

And most importantly, why was Rainbow Dash that creature?

Warning: Will contain animal-like Pet-Play and Tatzl-swallowings.
