After years of living on couches and sponging off of neighbors, Vinyl Scratch finally hits it big in the music industry as a rock musician. Octavia is left with no one until Vinyl approaches her with an offer she can't refuse.

This is a sequel to my other story, A Tale of Two Mares. Read that one first.
Anyhow, Vinyl Scratch and her trusty new wife Octavia are living in San Franciscolt, trying to make a decent living, raise a foal (or two), and not drive each other the neighbors crazy.
Some old favourites, and some ponies that are notorious for being awful, will come to make their lives a little easier(?) and some new ponies as well, for better or for worse.

Oh my Celestia, I just made that sound like the most boring story ever. You'll just have to read the first one.

The title is just a working title, if you like it then I will keep it.
I'm working on this story as we speak. Here is the formula: It is s first person POV. Every two chapters is one act. One chapter is written in Fluttershy's point of view, the other chapter is in Pinkie's point of view and they both revolve around the same general theme. I will update this as often as I can. I hope you enjoy it!
Also this is my first fiction so critiques are greatly appreciated!

Update: I need a break, I'm running out of ideas and I need some time to get back to this, I have a different story I want to write that I was asked to write so I will work on this when it's done.

The fights between Octavia and Vinyl have only worsened, and now their relationship is hitting it's breaking point. But when Lyra gets four tickets for the Lunar Maiden, an eloquent cruise liner, both are invited. Now cramped together aboard the fancy ship, Vinyl and Octavia must cope with the circumstances. Can they hold on to the slivers they have left? And will they take Lyra and Bonbon down with them?

Vinyl and Octavia are two mares, both eighteen. They have been on the run for four years.

Music was banned by the princesses long ago for its effect on ponies' emotions. Anypony even thought to know how to play a note was taken away, never heard from again. From this a prejudice was born; those with bright, colorful eyes were musicians. Vinyl and Octavia both must hide themselves and never stay in the same place for too long, less their eyes betray their interest for music and rhythm. These two have been searching for a place to call home everyday of their four-year journey. But what will they do if salvation is suddenly offered to them?

(First story on Fimfiction, criticism welcome!)

A series starring everyone's favorite music duo, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Philharmonica. There are no alien invasions, no epic battles, no larger than life heroes or villains. Just a few stories of love and d'awws.

Imagine a world where music can be more than just heard, but touched and seen and smelled as easily as the finest rose on an early spring morning. A world where weather changes, crops grow, and battles are fought, all to the tune of a musicians cadence. Such was Vinyls and Octavias world, their foundation music, and their instruments tools. And it came as no surprise to any pony when a relationship began to blossom between the two masters.

But when tragedy struck Octavia's life, the culprit was closer to home than she expected. She retired her career, picked up her weapon, and set chase to Vinyl, to satiate the boiling hatred that demanded revenge and cried for vengeance.

While trying out to play at the Canterlot Garden Party, Octavia sees Vinyl Scratch with her turntable and rap music. Octavia automatically hates her. She soon is surprised to learn that the two of them have a lot in common. More in common than Octavia thought. Octavia is surprised to discover she becomes friends with Vinyl. But will spending too much time with this new pony change Octavia? Will she still be the sophisticated, classical-music loving pony when the Canterlot Garden Party comes?
