During their high school days in Canterlot, Octave Melody had feelings for his best friend Record Scratch, but he was afraid of admitting his feelings to him. One day, his younger sister, Opal, finds out and tells her parents about it. Later on, Octave is called down for his parents to give him a big surprise.
