It wasn't a particularly good decision, but then again, he was raised to be Eligible, Handsome, and Intelligent, but not Wise, which is why our story begins in the aftermath of a Particular Grand Galloping Gala, wherein our frosting-covered hero sets his first hoof on a path that, if he's very, very lucky, might see him imprisoned for life married.

No matter what happens, he is, most likely, doomed.

Shining Armor is one of the best bosses a guard could have: He's intelligent, conscientious, and he has the best interests of the ponies who make up his command.

But Flash Sentry has a few questions for his boss that might be outside his purview as a guard captain or Prince Consort.

What happens when a rent-a-car worker encounters visitors from another world? And what happens when he makes friends with them?
