A blast of magic changed history when Starlight went back in time to show Trixie what led her down her path. Can Starlight Glimmer set things back on track?

Sunburst has a massive crush on Starlight that he's had since he was a foal. Trixie is aware of it and pushing him to confess while teasing him every step of the way. Meanwhile, Double Diamond comes to Ponyville to visit Starlight and Maud wonders about his intentions.

Title comes from the song of the same name from "Jem and the Holograms".

When Trixie used a teleportation spell, she hoped to disappear away from Ponyville, but not go so far as to go to an alternate timeline. And in this alternative timeline, Nightmare Moon rules Equestria. As if that weren't the worst, Nightmare Moon ends up liking Trixie and wants her to stay in the castle to keep her company. Now, Trixie needs to find a way to return home. But will she really want to go back to the original Equestria, especially after being humiliated by Twilight?

Trouble is brewing in Equestria, and Spider-Man is summoned to save the day! However, he takes the form of a pony upon his arrival and slowly starts to lose his powers. Now as Peter Pony Parker, he must become Equestria's new hero as the Amazing Spider-Mane, but with past failures haunting his mind, will somepony be able to give him the happiness he deserves and save him from a prophecy that ends with his death?

Across Equestria and through Earth, two hearts will join together, but one may die to ensure the survival of reality...

Spiders and Magic: Rise of Spider-Mane

Starlight Glimmer starts receiving tomorrow's newspaper today.

She doesn't know where it comes from or why it comes to her. For better or for worse Starlight finds herself in possession of powerful magic, and only has twenty-four hours to change the lives of ponies she's never met.

Princess Luna decides that risking the lives of the Elements of Harmony time and time again is hardly the most sensible or strategic response to the threats Equestria faces, leading her to seek an alternative solution, one which will ensure Equestria's protection in a more efficient manner.

The vagrants and outcasts of Equestria then find themselves presented with a proposition, one which could ensure their futures and prosperity... Assuming they survive the tasks requested of them that is.

Starlight Glimmer told her friends that she was afraid to go back to her old town to celebrate the annual Sunset Festival. The Mane Six reassured her that she’s changed for the better, and that she wouldn’t have been invited if her old village had not believed she had reformed.

She decides to go with Trixie, but upon leaving, Twilight and the others were captured by Queen Chrysalis which made Starlight come back and get an unlikely team to save them!

But what if something else happened?

What if Starlight was too afraid to go to the festival that she didn’t leave? And what if Chrysalis and her changelings arrived at that same moment to invade Ponyville? How different would it might have been?

Well, actually, it would end up being a smart move for Starlight since she would stay and save her friends BEFORE they were captured. But what if that’s what happened instead?

An alternate ending to the season 6 closer, To Where and Back Again, and the second in my alternate ending series.

A magician never reveals her secrets. The Great and Powerful Trixie just happens to have a few more secrets than most magicians. For example, she’s actually a princess of Transylmaneia. And she may or may not have doomed Equestria to eternal night. That's not even the biggest secret, either.
