During an encounter with Dr. Eggman, Sonic activates a machine that wasn't ready yet, just as the evil scientist planned out. Endowed with the power of the Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic conveniently brought with him, the machine swallows the hedgehog and sends him into a new world, a world that has been divided for centuries and has lost all its magic. Now teaming up with a very optimistic unicorn named Izzy, Sonic will embark on a journey through the uncharted land of Equestria, to unite all the ponies, reclaim the magic, and hopefully find his way back home.

After rescuing Princess Flurry Heart from a frigid limbo with the help of the Crystal Heart, Sunny wonders where to go from here with the first alicorn Equestria has seen in centuries.

Young inventor Twilight Sparkle has always been a creative mare, and that creativity is about to pay off in a world where she’ll uncover the existence of pegasi and unicorns, tribes long forgotten in Equestrian history, and ends up having to deal with the return of the legends of Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker.

Note: I know that a few people have done this, so I wanted to make a story of my own for if we’d gotten the Mane 6 as we saw them in the Gen 5 concept art and what I would do. Know that I did mix and match some concept art designs based on what I felt would work, and that I had to come up with Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker’s designs on my own.

Also, a surprise character will be joining the Mane 6 (making it rather the Mane 7). You’ll know who it is soon enough.

Ponies going missing was a normal thing at one point in Maretime Bay. They were brushed off as being taken by the unicorns or picked up by the pegasi, only fueling the fire of hate and fear. But after a year of ponies being back together, something seems to keep taking ponies and then returning them back with no memory of what they went through. Sunny and Hitch try to get to the bottom of this mystery.

With all the changes ongoing in Maretime Bay, Sprout decides to run away before he can be "brought to justice". But even though he does just that, he has no destination in mind.

Alone with his thoughts, Sprout is suddenly approached by a mysterious force that offers to be his friend. And this "friend" quickly convinces Sprout that his former friends can no longer be trusted, convincing Sprout to turn on them.

Imagine the shock of Sunny and the gang when Sprout suddenly morphs into a threat that Equestria hasn't seen in ages: The Pony of Shadows! And amidst the uncertainty of having to fight such an evil to save a friend, the five ponies receive help from the most unlikely of faces.
