The Vanu Sovereignty has found an ancient alien complex beneath the surface of Auraxis. The data they extracted from this object contains information about the highly advanced civilization that once populated Auraxis, the very same civilization that was directly responsible for the creation of the Sovereignty, and many of its technological advances. The High Priestess, the leader of the Vanu, takes this discovery and the information to be a sign. A sign that if the population of Auraxis is to survive, they must leave the planet and take to the stars.

The fascist Terran Republic is hot on the Sovereignty's heels. They want what the Vanu have, and they will stop at nothing to get it. Some have speculated that the Vanu may have finally found the coordinates of the lost home world of the human race; Earth.

The New Conglomerate, a collection of megarich corporations and capitalist enterprises, is willing to fund and assist the Vanu Sovereignty after the Vanu trick them into thinking that they have the coordinates to Earth. A half-truth, but, in the Sovereignty's eyes, the only way to walk the Path; the Path to the Stars. The Vanu do indeed have the coordinates of Earth, and they've had them since their founding. Only when one of the best infiltrators in the NC military dissapears through an alien portal do the New Conglomerate leaders suspect treachery.

Blacklight had the truth. He knew what he was. He knew Alex was dead, and that he was never human. He knew that Dana was never his sister, and that he was never even slightly related to her. He knew that there was nothing tying him to Dana, no real memories or biological similarities or even species based empathy. For some reason, Blacklight loves Dana like a sister he doesn’t have.

Perhaps this is what keeps him tame when he is brought into a place he does not belong. A scenario where a being of chaos and war brought to a place of harmony and peace is not often a pretty one. Yet with Dana there, somehow he manages not to go berserk and start murdering everything in sight.

Now the Monster of Manhattan contemplates his place in the world, lies to his sister and the ponies, and questions his lack of empathy when he begins to feel remorse for his actions. He is beginning to miss the simple times where the only things he had to deeply contemplate were methods of horrifically mutilating armies with the maximum amount of efficiency. At least that was straightforward.

(This fic operates under the assumption that Prototype 2 and its tie-in comics never existed. If you really have to ask yourself why, play the first game, then play the second game. The reasons should become apparent.)

(Well I'll be damned. Front page on the first day. Thank you all for your support!)

(Well, enough of you seem to think this is funny enough to be a dark comedy, so I added a comedy tag. I have to warn you though, I'm not entirely certain as to how consistent the comedy will be. So don't come into this expecting the wacky misadventures of a murderous psychopath.)

For a time, it looked as though Earth would be completely subsumed by Equestria. The magical barrier advanced to overtake the entire planet, consuming all it touched. Then suddenly, it stopped.

Earth and Equestria have combined into a strange hybrid-world, two different planets in one. In the heartland of the United States, things are beginning to return to normal for the humans there as it seems the threat of imminent ponification has passed. But for the ponies of the Conversion Bureaus, it means something else entirely...

Travis Touchdown is an otaku. His interests include anime, pro wrestling, and killing people.

His interests do not include ponies.

So when one of his favorite anime of all time ("Super Gundoll Puzzle Mustard") gets preempted by My Little Pony, he decides he's had enough of the brony cultural osmosis.

Without a second thought, Travis dusts off the old beam katana and heads right for Equestria to put an end to ponies. He trusts his Force and heads for the Garden of Madness!

A very special thanks to my editor/co-conspirator Bookish Delight. Without her, this story would amount to doodly-squat... which is less than nothing, in case anyone's curious.

Three months after the disaster started, the Elements of Harmony have been given one last mission to carry out. Their destination? A land an ocean away from Equestria, one populated by creatures called "humans". But a plan as massive as this one is bound to run into problems, and the group soon runs into a very big problem. Stuck in a foreign country and cut off from the princesses, Twilight and her friends will have to use everything they can to succeed in their mission.
As they try to complete their task, glimpses into the past reveal how the world’s situation came to be – and what exactly the group’s mission is.

'Have you heard about a new major expedition into the Zone? Technically, they're environmental researchers from the U.N., but that's just on paper. Sure, they've got a couple four-eyed scientists, but one look at all the others tells you they're seasoned fighters. Oh, and dig this; They're not using guides.' - Hog the Mercenary

The Tourist, a veteran stalker hired by the United Nations as an escort, finds himself working with the International Scientific Group, a collective ranging from hardened experts to frail researchers. After gaining clearance from the Ukrainian government for another expedition, the United Nations arms and readies their best field operators, the ISG.

Deployed into the Zone, these interlopers reach their destination, a large Space Bubble with an unknown exit. Quickly, the group enters the Bubble before a large emission and arrive within a forest, where they set up their mobile lab and temporary base of operations to make the best opportunity of an new anomalous area inside of what they assume to be Zone. However, as time passes and new encounters are made, it becomes more and more obvious that they aren't in the Disaster Zone anymore. Pressure begins to mount as the Zone's influence begins to leak into the forest, along with old dangers.

Without a doubt, the group as well as the Tourist will have to struggle to survive against the dangerous flora and fauna that sees fit to consume them. Of course, those become less attention-worthy once sentient, small horses come to investigate the stalkers and scientists, who are easily seen as a threat. The Zone is cruel, but new encounters can be crueler.

NOTE: This is a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. crossover that relies heavily on lore. The ISG faction was only mentioned, mostly cut from the series, but is still canon. Takes place roughly during the end of ShoC.

This story is a sequel to The Shogun Six

Equestria appeared on Earth and many had no idea what to expect. Then the Conversion Bureaus opened and the racism of the majority of the pony race was exposed. Then came the PER and forced conversion, which Celestia turned a blind eye to, and in doing so gave non-verbal tacit approval to. The Solar Tyrant believed that Earth would soon be hers, and many on Earth believed their defeat was inevitable.

The arrival of a SECOND Equestria threw expectations out the window.

Now Earth has new, powerful allies willing to take up arms. Earth calls for aid....

And The Shogun Six will answer.

————————

A non-canon fic set outside the Shogun Six saga, this fic nevertheless has some spoilers for that saga. Now officially part of the canon to the series! Do not read if you don't want spoilers to The Shogun Six. Rated teen for language and possible gore for the time being. Rating may change to mature as need demands. Current tags may change as the story progresses if I feel some don't fit as well as they might otherwise.

-----------------

Oddly, this fic has been mentioned on TVTropes.org, but has no page of it's own. Ah well. One can only hope.
