After Roseluck's tragic suicide by wormwood, her brother Rose Blade laments on his lack of initiative in protecting the one thing he should have above all others. His sister.

All the times he should have intervened, or told his parents to just let her be, especially after what the two of them went through in childhood. Every moment that he could of done something, but was to blind by fear or praise and ignorance to do so.
He'd always believed his sister to be strong enough to deal with it alone, he was wrong.
And he regrets it deeply, as it haunts his dreams.

In an alternate universe, the lives of some ponies are full of adventure, fun, and friendship.

It's so much easier to look back on your life and see the bright side of things when you have somebody by your side.

And at least for me, marrying that somebody, tying them to you for the rest of your life, is the best thing I could have ever hoped for.

However, with serious nightmares, a severe hangover, and an ominous confession looming at the horizon, marrying is a lot more stressful than I would have expected.

This calls for the aid of the elite Crest team and their fearless leader Colgate.
