Good chapter! I thought this was Cup Cake at first, but given who and what she's was talking about, I can guess who this is. Unusual pick, but I dig it.

Having a hard time placing this in the timeline. At first I thought it was sometime in the thousand year gap between Nightmare Moon's rebellion and FiM, given the ponies with Celestia in the last interlude, but given our POV character and what she's saying, this is clearly much closer to the start of FiM.

Definitely could pull a Kung Fu Panda here with the food/bath situation. She could feed him, then bathe him, then feed him again. Or the other way around, as suggested in an earlier comment.

Found this in "Latest updates" and decided to take a peek. That start where Celestia seems to be having a bit of a meltdown got my interest, then the chapter of guys all sitting around shootin' the bull regarding inter-dimensional travel bs...well I just had to continue. I gulped these few chapters down lickity-split, and now am ready for further chapters here. Going into my "Tracking" thingy now, along with all of the other stories I am keeping up with (and not a few that remain unfinished...)
Weekly updates are okay; I am following another story with the same schedule...

Did not enjoy the drawn out monologue fo, three? Four chapters? But soon as he started interacting with others it got interesting. Gunna watch this now.

Well done to notice! The colt definitely needs to learn the calendar soon, and there is most certainly something going on with the yearly chronology. ponies in our world don’t have much of a concept for the passage of years, and I’ve given this trait to the ponies in my Equestria. Although, they are more aware of the seasons. This little plot thread will have a reveal if Celestia can overcome this challenge in pony-nature to establish a yearly calendar system… or if some other clues work their way into the story.
