This story is a sequel to Changing Expectations

When ages are segmented and divided in the annals of history, it is done so with great events as breakpoints. The Second Age of Heroes was unanimously declared to have started with the return of Princess Luna and the changeling Invasion of Canterlot.

For thousands of years, the changelings survived beneath The Great Tapestry, that which connects all living and nonliving things. Hundreds of generations worked endlessly to keep their existence a secret. With one command from Queen Chrysalis, the Masquerade was broken.

In a single night, the changelings waged war against Equestria and took the Kingdom by storm. Months later, the war between changelings and ponies has ended. A new tapestry, a new story, must be woven between the two species. Equestria and the Fifth Hive have gone through a dark chapter and have emerged stronger for it.

One war ends and another begins.

As The Sword of Damocles hangs above the heads of the formerly-human King Phasma and his Equestrian counterparts, the forces of light must work on an ever-shortening window before war once again brings Hell to Equus. Dark powers grow in the places that the light does not reach, and they bring one irrefutable truth.

The moments of our lives are fickle things. We never really know what moments we'll remember years down the road, and we surely have no idea how significant some moments can be until they're already long past.

For three former villains, a great number of moments occurred between their fateful meeting with the former Princesses of Equestria and their ultimate revenge on two callous ponies from Manehatten. Some moments were tiny, still others enormous, but there was one thing they all had in common; for this odd little family, they meant the world.

Step back and peer through the window at these moments, these scenes, in the lives of three creatures who united to destroy, but were bonded together forever by love.

Her friends on the household staff treat her more like their boss, rather than their friend; Her three best friends no longer like her for some reason, and the biggest and most arrogant school bully who has been tormenting her for years is acting suspiciously friendly towards her.

Silver Spoon’s day doesn’t go like any others. The house servants are more talkative and more friendly than ever, no longer acting as formal and professional as they should. Three blank-flanks keep inviting her to spend time with them for some reason, and her best friend Diamond Tiara… betrayed her in worst way possible.

Something is clearly wrong.

How will each Silver Spoon survive such a big change in their life, and how will everyone react to their change of attitude? Only time will tell.

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. This story is a sequel to From the Ashes

The Hive hidden in the Scarred Forest, officially dubbed the 'Scarred City' by its allies, has already changed twice in recent memory. The first time was when Chrysalis reached out to Equestria for peace and Twilight Sparkle joined their family. The second was when Twilight Sparkle ascended to the throne and changed things for the better. Now, as the queen finally opens their eyes, the whole world will see how they will change. For better or for worse.

Starlight Glimmer had a painful fall, but she is more than determined to finish what she started. The message of Equality needs to spread across Equestria, and she knows just the mares who can help her...no matter how many years it takes.

But she soon finds out that raising six fillies that still represent the Elements of Harmony is easier said than done.
