This is a heart-warming story about key points in Twilight's and Luna's relationship. It's perspective is mostly the good side of the growing bond between these two, with a look at a plausible course of Twilight's destiny and an unusual reason for Luna's previous loneliness.

Spans across all seasons and goes into alternate universe territory just past the Season 3 ending.

At the edge of the world, up high where the blue and the black merge, two ponies watch the stars and pass the time annoying each other. It's the third year anniversary of their first kiss and Luna has a gift for Twilight that only she could give. Twilight freakstakes it characteristically well.

Two guards overhear strange noises coming from Celestia's chambers. Upon investigating, they decide that perhaps this is worth looking into a little more.
