Death is the end. Once you die that’s it. There’s nothing. Driven by the desire to confront the mare who killed him, Sombra makes his return known at the doorstep of the Ponyville library. As the battle between Sombra and Twilight intensifies, a second motivation behind Sombra’s attack comes to light. This ulterior motive threatens not just Ponyville, but Equestria as a whole. They say death is the end of life, but for some, it’s only the beginning.

When Halloween rolls around and Pinkie gets into the holiday spirit, Sombra ends up having to get involved. That includes dressing up.

Twilight get a letter from Celestia on a regular day, but it says that she must come to Canterlot immediately and with nopony else. Quickly, Twilight leaves Ponyville to aid Celestia in her time of need. But, when she gets there; it turns out what she raced there for, was not what she expected. As a matter of fact, she felt like just letting loose a thousand of parasprites in the castle for what Princess Celestia called her for. I mean out of all the ponies in Equestria...why is she in love with Sombra!?!

A certain edgy ruler connects to the animal-loving mare herself, which is all fine and dandy, but plot twist, he's rather...obsessed and clingy. Almost POSSESSIVE of Fluttershy, here we go again. What will she do? Is Discord jealous? He seems to be. He was the same way with Flutters and still is, Fluttershy doesn't want any fighting happening.. but... Discord isn't too keen on the new guy.

The now reformed King Sombra and Radiant Hope make their way home to the Crystal Empire upon recovering Princess Amore's shattered remains in hopes of restoring her. However, they quickly find that the memories of not just the citizens of the Empire, but the citizens of Equestria as a whole, have been twisted, believing now that Sombra is still evil. Sombra and Hope must now restore the good king's name in order to restore their shattered princess...

This story takes place in the canon of the comics, but to keep faithful to the tradition of the comics to follow show canon, it will also acknowledge the canon of the show.
