Rainbow Dash always had a thing for First Officer Soarin of the Wonderbolts, even without realizing he could be such a sweet pony once she got to know him a little better. However, her affections are already tied up with the newly adopted Scootaloo, who needs guidance and care when a new disorder rears its ugly head. There's not much room in her heart for a stallion, is there?

Unfortunately, her life will get even more complicated as the Mane Six join the Wonderbolts to face a mysterious darkness in the distant land of Saddle Arabia. She must remain strong, because her entire world is about to come crashing around her ears. Is there a light at the end of this tunnel, or will everything she endured simply bring more pain down the road?

Their slowly blossoming romance gives birth to a breed of royal guard not seen in 1,000 years. The Lunar Stallions!

Pastern is Princess Celestia's personal maid. When a Changeling raid kidnaps her, she finds the only means of escape is befriending her captor, a Changeling by the name of Gaskin. They escape together and have to live in a town that hates Changelings.

Fruit Heart, a market-seller mare, finds her house smashed after the Canterlot invasion, and to her troubles a changeling was responsible.

Now broken and hurt; Fruit Heart finds herself looking after the angry creature, but as time goes on, can she help the changeling see what kindness can do, or will his feral instincts force her away.

And will she adapt to caring for the changeling.

They have known each other for most of their lives and have since become good friends, so it only makes sense, right? Celestia and Discord were the rulers of Equestria, King and Queen, and husband and wife, but there was a common misconception about the two of them. Just based off many meetings and audiences, both appeared to be very democrat and civil. They never ignited a conflict, but merely solved it with dignity and grace.

However, that never left the royal court.

Beyond royal regiments they needed to adhere to, the two were far from civil when they were with each other at times. And they. Could. Fight.

Set in "Distorted Worlds" pre-events, soon after marriage.
