Big Macintosh has been in a relationship with his marefriend, Rainbow Dash, for a few months now, and the two are very close with one another. Mac knows that Rainbow does like to have space every once in a while, but when after almost an entire week goes by without any word from his marefriend, he begins to get worried.

Heading over to her house, Big Macintosh finds Rainbow terribly sick, and he knows that he has to be by her side until she gets better again.

Rainbow Dash tries to keep her relationship secret.

Prom season sucks for Big Macintosh. He wants nothing to do with it at all. While down at the lake to collect his thoughts, he meets Sunset Shimmer, a fellow classmate who is also fed up with dances. They might have come to be alone, but their company is far better than solitude could have been.

Being a soldier is something most equate to honor and the highest respecting position in the world. Some soldiers offer the ultimate sacrifice for their country, others come home in one piece. Big Mac isn't in the glory business, he just wants to serve his time and come home. He finds there is no such deal with the army.

A human gets pulled into Equestria by a spell cast by Twilight. He has a lot to learn about this new world and all its inhabitants. Will he be able to cope and live among the ponies, or will he be treated as an outcast, forced to run and hide as he tries to find a way home?

After a minor incident on the road home, Big Macintosh and Octavia Melody cross paths to help each other out with his fellow Ponytones.

Love can transcend all bounds, whether it is time, space, or class. That is something they were always taught.

A short little story of Heart and Hooves Day. Something that has been sitting on my hard drive for some time. Not the best but I figured it was time to share it.

John Apple, aging human farmer, has recently been injured in an accident by one of his horses. The doctors say he'll be unable to take care of his farm anymore due to considerable chronic back pain he will suffer for the rest of his years.

Farming had been his passion all his life, and had always been used to distract from the loneliness he felt from never having taken a wife, or raising children. Now faced with the prospect of losing his farm, having no options for meaningful employment, and the loneliness he can no longer distract himself from, he decides to bring an end to it all.

But what's this? He's still alive? Why did he wake up as a horse? How are these other horses able to talk? Why do these Apple horses keep calling him their father? And, perhaps most importantly, after finding himself with the family he had always wanted, does he dare tell them the truth?

Ever wonder how the mane six found their special someponies in A Day in Ponyville, well this is how Rainbow Dash had found Big Macintosh.

There will be six of these in total, with this being story number one. A side story to A Day in Ponyville, enjoy! One-shot.

UPDATE: Added AU because the show decided to give Mac a canon marefriend. *Shrugs* Fair enough, not gonna stop me shipping what I wanna ship though.

Marble and Big Mac have been seeing each other every Hearth's Warming, but Big Mac's behaviour is strange this Hearth's Warming, especially when the Pie's are mentioned.
