for months now they have been an item, but in truth- not much has progressed thanks to the timid mares hesitations. this is a short tale of their progress in their relationship.

With her official audition for the Wonderbolts only a week away, Rainbow Dash has been pushing herself far beyond her limits, and it's beginning to take a toll on her body. Fortunately, Fluttershy has just the solution for the stressed-out pegasus: a tried-and-true method of relaxation that's worked on her for years.

And she's determined to try it out on Rainbow Dash, no matter what.

Companion story to Souldin's Open To Interpretation

Rarity, Twilight and Applejack discuss one certain moment during the fight scene against the Changelings between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, in wonder of what REALLY happened. But what of Pinkie's mention of the two Pegasi snuggling together, nibbling each other's ears, and getting all lovey-dovey?

Here's what was going on all along with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy!

When Rainbow Dash finally builds up the courage to ask Fluttershy out; and surprisingly, when Fluttershy says yes; the both of them plan for nothing but a simple, quiet date; no one else...

However, when Pinkie Pie finds out about it, she has other plans...

Rainbow Dash wants to write a love letter to Fluttershy, but has no idea what certain sexual terms mean. When she asks Applejack and Pinkie Pie what they mean, they decide to mess with her by telling her that the words are innocent. Hilarity ensues. But the two Earth ponies know exactly what they're doing...

It's not easy for anypony when they can see that two of their best friends are perfect for each other. Some would just give up and hope that the two eventually worked it out but not Pinkie Pie. She's going to get these two together no matter what and she's no stranger to playing matchmaker.

This is a just a funny little Flutterdash one shot fic that I wrote ages ago and published on Deviantart. I recently reworked the idea and added a bit more just to flesh it out some. Sorry if it's not up to my usual standard but it was written a while ago. If you notice any grammar or spelling mistakes please tell me.

Rainbow Dash is coming home from the Wonderbolts Academy today, and all her friends are very excited. Of course none more so than Fluttershy, who hasn't seen her girlfriend in three long weeks. But wait a second, what did Pinkie just say? ...It's Rainbow's birthday too!? Now a frantic Fluttershy must scour Ponyville for the most perfect present bits can buy or face crushing disappointment!
