YOH 1505 (soon after "Amending Fences"): Moon Dancer has resumed her former friendships, especially with Twilight Sparkle. But during her long alienation from other Ponies, she has drifted toward Lone-Madness. Is the Magic of Friendship enough to save her from those she imagined her friends? Or will she fall into darkness?

Afer being hit by the Elements of Harmony, Sunset Shimmer finally understood just how evil she had been, and wishes for nothing more than to make up for it, and seek out forgiveness as Twilight told her.

The next morning she wakes up a week before she went through the portal to steal the crown, 10 days before the Fall Formal, and decides to try and right some wrongs she has committed among CHS before she leaves for Equestria.

Things have changed since my parents were teenagers. For one thing, technology has improved. Although it has slowed during the past ten years. Pollution is losing the battle, but engineers still haven't made a car that can run on air. Cops are less racist now, but they still point their guns at people. Also, Call of Duty is somehow still popular with the boys. All in all, things have changed. Life has changed, lives are changed, and I changed on the day the world should have ended. Aparently ww3 is thing now, the real deal is here. The reason I said the world should have ended was because..... it should have. Only.... I was in the way.

Sombra's defeat was a stern warning to any others who dared threaten the land. But Tyrek was different. Tyrek had come closer than anyone to destabilizing Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, and the rest of the world watched as Equestria made another narrow escape. Watched and learned. New enemies are feeling more and more confident that the great land can fall. They are conspiring with others, and preparing their invasion forces. And the answer as to how to prevent this war, may lie in the origin of Celestia, and Luna themselves. Deep at the heart of Equestria.
Now the elements of harmony must journey to the farthest reaches of Equestria to ensure that their kingdom survives.

Life is looking up for Sunset Shimmer.

With her grandstanding at the Battle of the Bands, Canterlot High has taken a new approach to her. Amends have been made, friendships have been restored, and Sunset is on the fast track to becoming a better person.

But even now, there are still apologies that have to be said.

For her Spring Break, Sunset returns to Equestria to make up with her estranged family: the parents that raised and provided for her, and the sister she left behind. But a lot has changed since then, and some wounds won't heal by just saying 'I'm sorry.'

Fixing friendships is one thing. Sunset will be put through her hardest test yet when she tries to bring her family back together.

This story is a sequel to A Moment in the Sun

Sunset Shimmer is on the run. It's been six months since she left her life as Princess Celestia's student behind, but she can't escape her own past. Her parents are offering a reward for her safe return home, and Celestia's agents are watching her every step. She might have gotten out of Canterlot, but the runaway student is still a long way from freedom. Especially since her education with the Princess of Equestria didn’t cover things like how to make a living wage with her magical skills.

However, there might still be one place where she can escape all of them. The infamous island nation of Freeport has long had a reputation as a haven for pirates, criminals, and exiles, but there's no better place in the world for somepony who wants to disappear. The only question is whether Sunset will live long enough to pull it off.

It was a normal day...until a rift opened. How will two black-and-red ponies react to the threat that drops down from said rift?
