There is one thing that Luna cannot stand. Wasted potential.

Luna, Princess of the Night, Keeper of the Dreaming Realms, carefully watches over her subjects, looking for the disturbing signs of those who contemplate the unthinkable, throwing away their potential. And when they go to dispose of themselves, Luna does what she can to be there to collect the trash... which Luna usually discovers to be treasure.

So when a young pegasus can no longer deal with the daily grind and moves to take his own life, Luna is more than happy to claim it so she can use it for her own purposes.

You don't know how valuable life is until it is taken away and claimed by another.

This is a prequel to Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions.

It explains the backstory of Quercus Alba, a unicorn who was down on her luck, and how she came into custody of Shady Patch, a zebra foal. Both characters are yet to be introduced into Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions.

Warning: this story deals with a graphic depiction of suicide. You have been warned. While this can be read as a stand alone story, it is meant to go with Princess Luna's Suicide Solutions.

Fluttershy's Nightmare Night scare from last year is on all the girls' minds again. So when the yellow Pegasus invites them all to stop by her cottage for another frightful Nightmare Night, they all jump at the chance. And boy, does Fluttershy deliver. First, she lets out a terrified scream as she runs out of her cottage, then a creature of darkness sucks her back in, and now she's talking in a voice not entirely her own.
But it's just a fun fright for Nightmare Night. Right?
'Horror' tagged because it's Nightmare Night, after all, and 'Teen' because it might be a bit scary (?)

Anyone at Crystal Prep who knew Twilight Sparkle would never assume that this shy bookworm with top grades in all subjects could hold something evil within.

Thus, when said bookworm turned into Midnight Sparkle under the influence of the magic she released, everyone present was shocked to see their classmate become a callous and ruthless she-demon.

Nobody could understand: why? Twilight wasn't evil... was she?

Failing to understand the reasons behind that horrific transformation, Rainbooms and Shadowbolts decided to ask the newest CHS student herself about that. Initially reluctant, Twilight agrees, revealing the side of her that no one had suspected to exist...

When Luna became Nightmare Moon, it was not of her own volition. She was sick. She was angry and scared, but mostly, she was sick. And when she needed help the most, she was abandoned by the only pony who could understand her fully. Now that she's back in Equestria, she doesn't feel she can trust her own sister. And if the magnanimous Princess Celestia can't be trusted, who can be?

Scootaloo is 13 years old and living in her house with regular visits from the rest of the former Cutie Mark Crusaders. She now has Rainbow Dash, Soarin, and the rest of the Wonderbolts as her adopted family. She has a secret, but she can't tell anypony because she doesn't want to be alone again.

One day all of her emotions are too much for her, so she writes everything down on a piece of paper.

DISCLAIMER: What some people may take from this story is that I must assume Scootaloo is a lesbian, but that's is not at all correct. The only reason I chose Scootaloo for this story is because she is the pony that resembles me the most, in personality and appearance. So yes, this story is based loosely off of me.
