My thoughts on the story so far:
On the bad side, you tend to rush a bit. You don't crowd your story that much, but there's little meat in it. And there are some mild mistakes in grammar and spelling, but that's the norm for most stories.
On the plus side, you did Cotton pretty well. And I really like this idea

I know it's just your second fic, but some of this grammar is unacceptable. "Did you heard that?" should be "Did you hear that?" even with a southern accent. Other than that peeve, I enjoy this fic.

I have to point out a HUGE contradiction. Two chapters ago you said the date was October 30th 2009.
MLP didn't premiere until 2010. So there is no way Dale can be a Brony, let alone be caught up to date with the series.
