Now, the idea of seeing someone argue who was the "best Princess" in Equestria was hardly a new thing. In fact, such talks had appeared in articles across Equestria for some years now. And every Princess knew what it meant when another one turned up. They'd read it, they'd have a debate amongst themselves over what was said, they'd maybe argue, and then they'd laugh over it afterwards. But today, they come across one such article that causes no argument. In fact, it genuinely surprises them.

People always say that they want one last chance. One more try to do things. Regret is one of the stronger feelings that a pony can suffer. It is a reminder of something that they could have or should have done. Something that chases after them throughout their lives.

Sometimes it is worse. Sometimes, things change suddenly, and leave no time for anypony to do what they want to do. Things happen so fast that actions are left in stone, and nothing can ever change it.

There is no such thing as a second chance. There is only ever the mending, and that is a blessing for the healing it offers. When it is missing, nothing heals. When something is bad enough, some might contemplate simply lying down and never waking again.

Twilight wakes, and something is wrong. What could it be? She can find out.

But will she want to?

Twilight Sparkle died. She died saving everypony from the changelings, slaying each and every one of them with a single spell. The results?

Don't get me wrong being a unicorn is cool. You get to do a bunch of different kinds of magic. But why for the love of all that is holy why am I this guy. It wouldn't be so bad except I have two princess's that keep gushing over me saying things like how they missed their favorite teacher, and worst of all there's a certain lavender-colored alicorn that has a fangasm every time she sees me. Well, that part ain't so bad and she is kind of cute. Never the less I am here in Equestria and I'm a pony even though I look like him I might as well make the best of it.

I've had my fair share of critics in my line of work. It's understandable—someone with the power to invoke fear in those he touches? Yeah, that's someone I want to watch over me and my children.

Twilight tests a spell in a journal that once belonged to Starswirl and disappears. Upon returning she changed in more ways than her friends can imagine. Now Twilight must protect everyone with the knowledge and power she gained while away.

I was a normal teenager that was living a decent life. That was until when I finish the story of the game called,"The Peacekeeper", A strange entity called me on my phone and told me that I had to protect the tree of harmony from a great danger that only I could fight off. I did the only reasonable thing anyone would do when they were extremely bored, I accepted it. LOOK OUT EQUESTRIA! IT'S TIME TO EAT LEADED PEACE!

It was supposed to be amazing, her brother and foalsitter would marry, parties would be had, her and her friends would laugh and joke, and everyone would have a good time.

That was before Twilight was cast out of the wedding.

Now as changelings fill the skies and everyone runs in panic with no help in sight, she remembers a room, deep in the heart of the castle, with just the thing to stop the changelings. The only problem:

Does she want to? Is the price too much, or does she even care?

After all, didn't her teacher say she had a lot to think about?
