Applejack reached up with a fore hoof to touch the brim of her hat. It was habitual, almost unconscious. She could feel, nestled safely underneath the hat, her two most precious treasures--a single blue feather and a small snippet of purple mane.

They were precious, more precious than anything besides her family and her farm, because they were only pieces of them she'd ever have.

Alright alright. This is an AppleDash fanfic that my friend and I wrote literally today because we wait until last minute. This fanfic basically continues and adds on from the 2013 comic book that was released. The comic basically explains the falling out between the main girls, minus Twilight of course. We just added romance and changed a little bit of the plot, but we mostly stuck to canon.

Rainbow Dash has been dealing with anxiety. Her friends are too busy and her loneliness makes her feel down. Encouraged by her therapist, she starts writing a journal. Her process will help her discover more about herself, her feelings and unexpected realizations.

Rainbow Dash got herself a new computer and a shiny new game to push its limits. Applejack wants to spend time with her but Rainbow Dash isn't exactly the best at picking up subtle hints. Applejack, still working out her feelings gets unsolicited help in an unconventional way.

Yeah... things were going to get messy.

Rainbow Dash has been struggling with her sobriety for a while now, and as she nears her breaking point at a party, she learns that it's ok to lean on her friends for support.

Rated for mentioning/ relation to substance abuse.

When Applejack and Rainbow Dash wake up, hungover and in the same bed, they've only one question: how can we get even? A day spent tormenting their friends by turning one of their hopes on its ear pays off, but not quite in the way anypony expected.

To see somepony die is painfull. To see somepony die slowly in front of your eyes unable to do anything but watch their life fade away, that is tormenting.
Yet it is this torment Rainbow Dash is experiencing when Applejack is left grievously wounded; knowing her own failure doomed her marefiend. Now Rainbow Dash is willing to do anything to undo what was done, even if it the price turns out to be her very life.
