A robot, constructed for a purpose that it does not understand, seeks to gain its Father's approval via whatever means it can. Following his instructions, being fit to serve, and always awake and alert. But its efforts are not enough; not suitable to fit Father's desire for a true daughter. In the end, no machine can truly substitute the depths of real emotion.

...Or is that untrue? Could feelings to a robot truly mean nothing? Or could they mean everything? What would it take to be considered... "real"?

Since the first day Button Mash moved to Ponyville he has loved Sweetie Belle but another filly loves Button as much as he loves Sweetie Belle. When this filly comes forward Button abandons his pursuit of Sweetie Belle causing her to sink into depression. How will this affect their friendship and will Sweetie fight for Buttons love? Only time will tell.

But how do you make somepony who hasn't even taken care of her own trash before be taught to take chores, house upkeep, and the feelings of others seriously?

Ponyville gets a new casino, but the owner is determined to keep it a family friendly place. Rather than try to fight vice with muscle or bribery he turns to the most powerful weapon he's ever encountered; the adorableness of everyone's favorite unicorn filly.

After a year on tour, Rarity and Sweetie Belle's brother, Neon Light, comes to live with them in the Crystal Boutique. How will their family bond reappear after a year on tour? Can Neon be the great brother he always wanted to be? And does he feel any guilt for leaving his family for a whole year?

Neon Light: A character I personally thought of, but has the same name as a character by Shady Vox

Although this story focuses mainly on Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Neon Light, many other ponies will appear in cameos.

These are the words echoing in a young silver filly's mind as she slowly exits the train to Canterlot and heads to the edge of the city, a sheer cliff-drop of hundreds of feet. Not expecting anypony to be watching, she looks down and releases a deep sigh, taking one hoof-step forward.

I have thrown my life away, and now I'll be the one to pay.

But maybe it'll take one compassionate filly from her life before to show her the way to the light.

With the promise of spending quality time with Sweetie Belle, Rarity goes out to the Ponyville Art Supplies to construct an artistic masterpiece for both of them to share.
