After a fatal tragedy, Twilight wakes up in a situation unlike anything she had experienced before. How is she supposed to react when she finds herself reincarnated as the daughter of Queen Chrysalis, the very one who orchestrated her assassination? Does she give into the rage and loss of her former self, or does she hold true to the magic of friendship?

ACT Two: Synopsis incoming

The Veliidae Changeling Hive has a plan to improve changeling-pony relations. Since they can change the forms of other ponies almost as easily as they can change their own, why not start a business on that premise? It's not like anything bad could happen. Right?

When Sweetiebelle learns the truth of her construction she struggles with her own mind. She is alive, she knows it! But can a program truly be alive? Are the feelings of love for her sister and friends real or just a clever combination of ones and zeros?
Suddenly the fact that she can never get a cutie mark seems insignificant.
With her very conciousness on the brink she sets out to prove she is alive, that a machine can feel love, passion and joy. But with her entire life revealed as a lie can she really trust those feelings any more?

When they are forced to make contact with a very strange civilization of ponies, they think only of peace. Unfortunately, their arrival destabilizes a tense political situation.

Applejack and some of her friends are bored with apples and Pinkie parties. They long for adventure and danger - and fate brings it to them. Granny Smith reveals some amazing secrets in this story that takes the ponies far, far away.
This story was written by a writer outside FIMfiction that gave me permission to post it on FIMfiction. I'm under no circumstance claiming to have written this story.

It was a night that will forever be burned into the memories of everypony. One fateful night in Equestria everything changed. The princesses who had ruled over the world with kindness and heart were gone, and a new ruler had taken their place.
Years have passed since that event. Ponies have grown up, aged, and moved on with their lives. Equestria has become a very different place over the span of these years.
Our story begins when a face resurfaces in Equestria. When a weathered, scarred, but familiar face steps into the light.

This is the fanfic based on Astringe's Bad Future series on DeviantART. He did some great designs of the characters, so make sure you give that gallery a peruse before you read the fic.

Also worth mentioning, he's been nice enough to plop any pics he does based on chapters I've written into this separate gallery, so there will be less spoilers for readers just jumping in to the story.

NOTE: The canon of my story picks up at the start of Season 3, where it begins to diverge away from the canon of the show. I've never read the IDW comics nor have I seen Equestria Girls, so the events of my story aren't canon at all with them.

Twilight can tell her brother is hiding something; he promised not to, but he is. Every night he wakes up screaming, and every day he's more afraid. She doesn't know how to help him, but he won't survive without it.

This is Cadence; can anypony hear me? We're trapped in the Everfree Forest. All I see are trees in every direction, but there's something out there; and it's coming closer. Shining Armor is sick, I think he's dying. Please, if anypony finds this message, send help.

Look at them; the blissfully ignorant citizens of Ponyville. They think their freedom comes without cost. They believe the peace they enjoy has no price. They have no idea of the war that is waged, and the sacrifices made, to win these things which they take for granted. But that is how it must be. If they ever learned the truth, everything would be undone. Listen well to my story, consider it, and then never speak of it for as long as you live. If you tell even one pony, Equestria will burn!

Set one year after and alternate ending to season two. Shining Armor and Cadence never married. Three weeks before the wedding was scheduled to take place, it was postponed indefinitely. No explanation was given to the citizens of Canterlot.

It all started with a simple question: What if? What if Luna had ponies who noticed the beautiful nights she created. Would she have turned into Nightmare Moon? Would she and Celestia rule together for a thousand years? Would Twilight meet the rest of the bearers of the elements and become friends with them? Now, with the help of a new magic spell that she created, Twilight is going to find out!
