This story is a sequel to Long Road to Friendship

It is a new year for Sunset Shimmer; a fresh chance at real happiness with her five best friends and her girlfriend. But Sunset is constantly troubled by her uncertain future, and haunted by the consequences of her past.

For her battle against Princess Twilight has drawn forth ancient forces with eyes on the last bastion of magic: Canterlot City.

As darkness closes in, Sunset must find her light and guide her friends to defend their world against old rivals and legends best left forgotten, all while dealing with their ever-looming futures.

But when graduation comes, what will Sunset Shimmer do? For she is still a stranger in this world, with or without her friends, and the road before her guarantees nothing.

Of course, with the universe conspiring against her, it'll be a miracle if she even makes it that far...

Until all of the hatred in her heart is gone, Sunset is at the whim of her peers, unbeknownst to them of course. Can her new "friends" help her down the road to redemption?

If not, there's always that other Twilight Sparkle she keeps running into.

A lone vampire bat sneaks through the mirror portal and ends up in the human world. Instead of apples, it now craves something far richer. And unfortunately for Sunset Shimmer, she's its next snack.

Sunset can't remember any of her activities past sundown. The light hurts not just her eyes, but burns her skin. And she's thirsty.

So very thirsty.

It's up to the Rainbooms to save Sunset from herself before she drinks the whole city dry. Too bad Twilight Sparkle is her primary target.

With no magic causing the same problems they had during their Spring Break, their next yacht experience is what their last one should’ve been. Princess Twilight who made a lot of friends last summer has little to do during the summer season. She also notice she didn’t have a lot of time with her human counterpart when she entered Equestria from a different portal. Luckily for her Sunset Shimmer reminds her she’s going on another cruise and ask her if she’s interested into coming with. Princess Twilight agrees since it’s one of the things she wants to do in order to know her counterpart especially she can discuss her times on the beach with her new friends.

The Rainbooms including Human Twilight went out of town because their on tour to show off their band. Sunset talks to Princess Twilight that she going to be away for a couple weeks. She also thought of a way of her princess friend to meet more people she didn't met when she was gone. When Twilight accepts Sunset's advice, Starlight and Spike will take over her job as co principles in the School Of Friendship while Twilight enters the Mirror World and straight to the beach thanks to Sunset giving her the map.
