Have you ever been so bored in life that you would do whatever you can to have some fun? For example, what would you say if a couple of goddesses offered you a chance to go to a whole new world entirely? One filled with mythological creatures and magic.

The answer would be "yes" if you asked one particular pony that recently arrived in Equestria. Because he's about to find out that this world will offer him new friends, some action in his life, and most importantly, adventure!

He's not considered royalty like the princesses. He's not powerful in friendship like the Elements of Harmony.

Alternate take on Season 5 premiere:

What if the Mane Six followed Starlight into the cave? What if they caught her instead of letting her get away? What if there was also a human living back in Ponyville who had trouble making friends?

This story is an "adopted" story of my friend TheHardie-Boy's story of "Caught and Punished", and that story was inspired by Slave Starlight written by titanictime2

The prologue and chapters 1-4 are from TheHardie-Boy's version, but with some minor edits. Chapter 5 and the chapters afterward are completely written by me. Despite the "Sad" tag, this isn't going to be a downer story and it will have a number of light-hearted moments. There will still be some sad moments, of course.

Smolder has been sneaking through the School of Friendship, getting wondering looks from her friends and her teachers. Then one night, when Smolder thought that everyone was asleep, Smolder's friends, Starlight, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie followed Smolder to the catacombs, where they find Smolder with another dragon. And to surprise them all, the dragon she's with was once a human boy named Aaron Blazer.

The group wanted to know how Aaron got to Equestria in the first place. And they even wanted to know why Smolder was keeping Aaron hidden from her friends and the teachers. And, eventually, they're gonna have to find a way to get Aaron back to his home before his family starts to worry. They contacted new High Princess, Twilight Sparkle, to see if they can find a way to get Aaron back to his world.

But it would take time for Twilight to find the right spell to send Aaron home, so Smolder spent as much time with Aaron, trying to teach him how to fly like a dragon, and avoid causing fire damage with the fire breath he now has. And maybe, the two hang out.

Sequel to Digital Dustin.

After the events of the Fall Formal, Canterlot High is hosting a musical showcase and Dustin and his friends are going to be performing with their new bands, The Rainbooms and The Web Surfers. But then a new threat called the Dazzlings comes to CHS and convinces everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, Dustin and the gang call on Princess Twilight to return to their world to help them perform a musical counter-spell while Dustin also gains a new form that negates the Dazzlings magic. The Rainbooms and Web Surfers both must put their musical skills to the test to save CHS.

When Princess Celestia finds a young nymph in a basket floating down the river, she decides to take him in as her son. As the years go by, She decides that her beloved son and her star student needs to learn an essential part of life. Making friends.

So she sends them to Ponyville, in hopes that they learn about the importance of friendship.

Nick, an 8-year-old boy in New York, has been having a tough life ever since he was younger. At four years of age, his parents died in a car wreck. When he was in 1st grade, he was picked on in school for being an orphan. Recently, he was kidnapped by a wicked pawn shop owner who stole and hid away a diamond somewhere in a nature preserve. But what he didn't know was that the gem reacts to the full moon, sending him off somewhere, taking the diamond with him.

The next thing he knows, he finds himself in an old castle, not knowing how he got there. Not only that, but he finds himself in a completely new body, one of the opposite gender. Nick was now a black alicorn filly, with a mane that looks like the night sky, and turquoise dragon eyes. She also had on a blue helmet and four blue horseshoes. Nick has no idea where he is, what he had become, or what he was wearing, but he has to find a way back to his world in his original form.

But how will the ponies of Equestria take it when they see a filly Nightmare Moon? This will be a very confusing or shocking to the Main 6 and Spike. This is going to be one heck of an adventure.

This story is based on Living Nightmare by Autum Breeze, but we're doing this story early in the series, and with a kid that had a lot of trouble through his life.

Mark always knew he was... well, you know. But what was he supposed to do about it? Nothing, really. It didn't matter anyway. Nothing was ever going to change. Or so he thought, until a portal to Equestria appeared in his house. But with that portal, he'll be forced to acknowledge and confront what he is head on.
