Sacrifice. While many would voice their selflessness to sacrifice themselves for a worthy cause, only a few actually keep to their word. The reward tends to be a permanent mark on history, whether as a hero or martyr for the right reasons, or as a traitor or failure for the worst. Whatever the result, those who give their lives for the name of sacrifice usually do so willingly, and die with the knowledge that they stayed true to their morals or redeemed a troubled past.

...yet, imagine the pain one would feel if they didn't die, and in fact, were forced to betray what they stood for, what they were willing to give their last breath for, and work against the desired effects of their sacrifice. The poor soul would probably be driven to insanity, or at least turn into a husk of their former self. One would probably do anything to escape that personal Hell. If they can't kill themselves, then they would probably plot and scheme until they could break free of whatever forced them to betray their ethics, and strive for revenge, retribution, and if possible, redemption.

Enter Solitude Blaze, a Unicorn serving under the Midnight Agency for Strategic Operations. Serving in the name of the Royal Sisters, he was more than willing to do what was needed to keep the innocent safe from harm. What the stallion could never foresee would be how that very mindset, while definitely honorable, possessed the potential to damn not only his spirit and psyche, but those very innocents he vowed to defend.

Even after successfully overthrowing the force responsible for his damnation, and in the process fulfilling his greatest desire for revenge, what does one do to make amends for the atrocities committed to the ones he once promised to never hurt? Is it even possible to gain redemption from something like that, even if it was forced? And what of the mind when they have endured the highest levels of pain, for both body and heart?

Sometimes, even the lowest pits of Hell are merciful compared to what can be.

Arcane Illness is a new disease from places unknown, will a cure be found before all Unicorns are affected. What are the symptoms, is there a malicious cause and what must be done to find a cure?

After three days of settling down, Chrysalis finds a necklace on one of her visitors, and requests to have it. What the necklace unveils is two letters. One for Carina, and one for Chrysalis. Following Carina's visit to the hive, Chrysalis decides to do more in taking the second chance she's been given. But what way should she go about that?

Changelings
Critically feared, yet misunderstood ; A lesson that many would like to share with the world of Equestria. It has been two years since the invasion of Canterlot and now a new settlement has risen in the Southeastern Grasslands led under a certain Changeling named ‘Price’. Once a simple commander under Chrysalis' rule, now a free changeling along with thousands of others, willing to set out into the world and show the world that Changelings can integrate within Equestrian life.

However, ever since one fateful day, there have been a couple concerning issues sprouting. The presence of wild monsters in the area is a bit of a threat to the nearby residents, causing many to undergo fear of being incapable of handling the possible beasts yet to have been seen. To make things worse, the animosity between changeling and Equestrian has not died down, giving them support from other ponies ranging from slim to none. The presence of wild beasts puts a halt to the signing of a peace treaty with Equestrian forces, and so the troubles pile on more and more.

How can a a former commander turned king handle such a pressing matter?

{ This will hereby stand out as my 1st fanfic ever, so I would appreciate it to get some feedback. I'm a bit nervous about writing this, but I have high hopes for making a story around this concept and I'll do my best to work hard at it.

The day a baffling virus infected Equestria. Ponies started to get terrible fevers, nausea, and becoming limp, and acting weak. Ponies called it, "Zomian" as during the sickness, infected ponies would repeatedly say this during the fever stage. As the Zomian virus progressed, ponies became violent, aggressive and vicious, craving the taste of flesh, the taste of blood, the taste of anything living they could get their hoofs on! They soon started to die out, leaving the world in war, chaos and calamity. Songbird was one of the few survivors around Equestria. Now, instead of calling the ponies by names, she calls them "Trotters", the dead reanimating themselves. This is the world now, and what is to come.

Everypony has a past. It might be nice and calm or it might be full of adventure. Alex here has more than just an Adventure. He has to deal with Ancient Precursors and Power Hungry corrupts. Join him in the fight and in the end, he finds true love. You will see much betrayal both past and some in the present. Like everypony, they all have a secret they hide. This one secret is finally reviled; the dark past. Infiltrators, they are the first wave in any Changeling invasion. They impersonate a pony in places found with abundances of love. But some are given different a type of mission. Assassination. They will continue until completion or death. With Queen Chrysalis continuing to harbor a grudge against Twilight and her friends for ruining her invasion of Equestria, she sends an infiltrator to end Twilight. But, what happens when the changeling does not wish to take a life. But Chrysalis is nothing if not a master manipulator.
