The stallion sat at his desk late one night, the parchment in front of him illuminated only by the rapidly dwindling candlelight.
Heaps of crumpled-up balls of paper filled the floor around him, on each a different story, a different idea, a different character, a different stallion.
The stallion yawned and rubbed his eyes, wishing that he did not have to write this novel, but he knew he had to, as per his publisher’s demands.
And so, he stared at the blank paper, at a complete loss of how to begin his story, as he had been for most of the day.
He had written and scrapped so many ideas, that they all began to seep together, filling his mind with fragments of passages, openings, sentences, paragraphs, settings, characters, and a multitude of other things.
With a sigh, the stallion dipped his quill in the near-empty inkwell and put it to the paper for what seemed to be the umpteenth time that night and began to write once again.
“This is a story about a stallion…”
LEEEEEEEEEET'S STOP!
Also, been a great, interesting read. Can't wait for any other works you'll be posting.
Huh. On one hand, I like the idea for the ending. On the other, it feels a teeny-tiny bit cliche.
Still, this was a good ride. Thanks a bunch for providing it.
Oh, and have some video:
We'll never know what this solo was, just like how we'll never know who
this stallionthese stallions were...Welp, it was fun while it lasted. Have some emus:
And so ends an era.

A pretty great era, too.
This was a story, and I appreciated it.
That wrap-up was very fitting.

Both of your posts are valid criticisms. It's true that almost none of these stories really have anything to do with MLP and could be transposed to any other universe (though I do think that "the stallion" sounds a lot better than "the man"). There's only a handful of chapters that involve pony-specific actions or events, and the other 90% are just general vignettes that, I admit, could easily be rewritten and placed in any other universe.
I do admit I messed up a bit with the weather thing, and I continually flip back and forth in later chapters between scheduled and non-scheduled weather. Though, being surprised by the scheduled weather could be a simple as them simply just not looking at the schedule for that week or whatever.
I started reading after the story was finished so, i dont know if you will ever see this but I just want to say how great I thought these stories were. Not for content but for execution and theme. Thank you for writing this.

You're very welcome. Thank you for liking this so much. I'm glad I managed to make a story about literally nothing so interesting.
