“What have you done, Twilight?! What have you done?! You killed us all! You killed us all! You should be dead!”

After a message from a terrible future where ponies are killed by Twilight's hooves as a powerful tyrant including her friends, family and the Princesses, Twilight belives that there is one way to stop all this from happening. Her death.

However, after wakening up from her apparent death, she finds her self in a diffrent future, where ponies are not dying by her taking over but by the mistake of dying and not there save Equestria from everything else. Now, she must find out what has happened to creating this diffrent future. Are her friends all dead? What happened to Celestia? How did she live? And why can't she get back to her own time?


This series was supposed to be M rated but decided to lower it. M rated will be featured in a seperate series if requested.
Teen rated cause of light amounts of blood shed but it is mostly curse words, some violence and mild sexual sessions.

The next Nightmare Night is approaching fast, and this time Luna's going to come to scare everypony as Nightmare Moon the first time intentionally. A few days before she leaves for Ponyville though, she discovers the friendship reports Twilight has been sending to Celestia. Interested in these, she reads them and realizes she has a crush on Twilight Sparkle.

How will she react to this revelation, and will Twilight return those feelings?

Eighty years after the events of The Dread Chitin, Equestria is a radically different place. The arcane science of the late Duran Thirk and the information found on the Star League library core have combined to catapult the nation's science ahead by hundreds of years.

Now, facing the possible aggression of a completely unknown alien power, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have to gather together once more, leading a crew of the best ponies they could assemble in a voyage outside their own star system. They seek to learn about their potential foe, to explore the galaxy around them, and possibly find allies and friends to stand alongside them. Who knows what they will actually find?

Today the machine is finally ready to be used by a human, ex-astronaut Jan Schneider is the first tester; everything goes as planned, but on one sudden day, the machine fails and sends him to a different planet, to a different place, well known as Equestria. But was it really the machine which failed? Or has somebody an eye on him?

The royal court of Canterlot welcomes its newest member with open forelegs: the human philosopher Voltaire, from Earth.

On Earth, Voltaire is known as the greatest enemy of tyranny in the history of literature, and a legend in his own mind.

On Equestria, the court betting pool is giving him a week before the Princess banishes him to the Moon.


Note: This story doesn't have sequels per se, but there are a couple of short follow-ups set in the present day ("Parade Coverage" and "Secret Histories"), and a prequel of sorts in "At the Inn of the Prancing Pony".

Instead of banishing Nightmare Moon, Celestia successfully separates Luna and the nightmare, and both then seal it in the moon, but the stain of both acts are too much for the Princesses and both perish, but not before giving the prophecy of their return. 1000 years later is a changed Equestria, a splintered government, no advanced school of magic, difficult weather patterns, and a looming threat from the Moon. Can the reborn Princesses be found in time? Is friendship still the best hope for a happy tomorrow? The more things change...
