Back inside Stable 4, I was destined for greatness. Outside, I was nothing more than a filly. At the same time, I also seemed to fit in very well into the horribly violent Equestrian wasteland, more than you would expect from somepony my age.

Of course I enjoyed the story, I would dare to read it again (even before they are captured), for a reason I have you in my favorites.
Maybe one day I will dare to finish it. It's just that I stopped feeling it as a trip, just witnessing a trip (drama). But don't stop writing anyway, I'll be aware of your future works <3!
Shaping up to be a comfy ending. I can already tell I'm going to suffer immense withdrawal.
Congratulations. This is one of the sappiest things I’ve read in any ponyfic. And to think it was here of all places.

Hopefully it's not too immersion breaking
Especially since there's something even sappier later on.And now for something serious…
I LOVE how you had Star Seeds and Iron taken out by Gloam. And casually at that. Really drives home just how crazy overpowered stealth magic is. Something which I feel some other stories manage to undersell, even when they use it as a major plot point!

Yeah, I think that stems from the source material. Most FoE fics respect game mechanics, and game mechanics inherently need to be balanced
at least in theory. Given fo4's balance issues, it's clearly not always a concern for game devs, so every stealth "mechanic" needs to have some pretty big flaw.Even then, I read FoE before I played any of the fallout games, and when I did finally play them I was disappointed by how weak stealthboys were.Gloam's shadow magic was inspired by Barb's magic (Murky Number Seven; strongly recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it), and I kind of never thought about balancing it or making it like the games. My only concern was "why isn't this magic widely used?"
oh that probably star related perk acting up again
very good chapter, I really like gloam, hope lock will give her her freedom by the end
Ooooh, Lockpick, you poor scheming weasel. Ya done goofed.
More interesting is that you set up the perfect lead-up to Star Seeds killing Iron in the dark alley in a classic case of Sudden Yet Inevitable Betrayal, then subverted it with Gloam zipping in out of nowhere.

Honestly, that didn't even cross my mind for a nanosecond while I was writing this
