Its been 4 long years, and William finally gets the opportunity to return to Equestria. However, when his friend, Joey, is unexpectedly brought along for the ride. And the Storm King invades, William is forced to do something he hates... Adapt.

Two simple guardsmares were performing their duties when a white flash transports them into a bizarre alternate reality set in a futuristic world that's nothing like Equestria. In this reality the once servile metal stewards known as Mechanoids turned against their masters, now all that remains are small pockets of survivors scattered throughout the ruins of their world.

But they are not alone, they come into contact with cosmonaut pony left behind in a space station. He also knows about the precarious situation they find themselves in.

With his aid they will face off against the unending mechanical horde to find a way back to home.

Princess Celestia starts to write a journal, documenting the strange letters that she has received from her student, Twilight Sparkle. Who died a month ago.

It has been nearly a thousand years since Twilight Sparkle died. Celestia and Luna are gone. The Holy Equestrian Diarchy, ruled by a bigoted and brutal theocracy, has driven ponies apart and divided them along tribal lines. Unicorns are driven from society, feared and hated.

The lessons of friendship, painstakingly written down in the journal of friendship by Princess Twilight and her friends, have been warped and twisted to fit the Diarchy's hateful ideology. But to the average pony, this is the truth and reality of the world they live in, beset on all sides by enemies monstrous and magical.

Emberglow, a young pegasus mare, aspires to join the elite Knights, magically enhanced warriors dedicated to the holy Saints worshiped by the state religion. Can she uncover the lies and deceptions that have led the world to this bitter place?

Gabriela is a boring pony. She's a unicorn batpony and while the magic is nice, she always wanted to hang out and be friends with other ponies. But she feels she can't relate to most ponies because she's a batpony and she also feels she can't relate to other batponies well either because she has magic and not wings. She loved her unicorn mother, but she can't help but wonder what things would be like if she were like other batponies? Because of this isolationist attitude within her mind, she spends most of her time reading and sipping coffee with her cat, Pete.

Her two batpony friends Dusk Shine and Nightshade both work with her during the night shift at the Ponyville fruit processing plant on the southwest portion of town. Dusk Shine recently read the Friendship Journal by Twilight Sparkle and friends and that made her think of her friend Gabriela, the lonely night unicorn, some distance West of their cottage. So one fateful night when nopony in question worked, she decides to take matters into her own hooves!

For ruining Pinkie Pie's beloved bakes after flooding the Castle of Friendship, Starlight Glimmer must face a punishment that Pinkie set for her to complete. She's due for a talking with the pink pony at Sugarcube Corner where she will be tested on her skills as an amateur baker, and maybe learn something new at the same time.

Once upon a time, on the not-so-magical planet Earth, there was a US Marine who signed up to defend his country. He was assigned to a fire team, the fire team assigned to a squad and the squad assigned to a platoon. Together they defended the area surrounding a Forward Operating Base in Afghanistan from insurgents. If only it were that simple.

When lone Marine is transported to Equestria he finds a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With no orders, no resupply and seemingly no hope of return, he sets out to find what brought him here, and why.

As total war rages across the land one hero stands out above the rest; Commissar Blueblood, Hero of Equestria. Or at least that's what the propaganda says. The truth, as ever, is far more complex, as the esteemed Blueblood is merely looking for an easy and sedate life. Unfortunately, fate has a habit of throwing him into increasingly dangerous and suicidal missions, which he must survive with a combination of self-preservation, lying, and sheer blind luck, even if doing so only fuels his soaring reputation!
