Against Team Plasma

Dynamax Den. Afternoon.

Currently, a bit of a scuffle is happening above the surface. Ash and the others had just come across Team Plasma, the Umbrage Thieves and Luster Dawn. They managed to bump into each other due to both parties on their own search. One for Mew and the other for Dynamax particles.

A flux of events was occurring and more was to come. Or rather, this event was about to end sooner than expected as Ghetsis gave the order to leave this world. And the grunt he contacted sent that message through everyone else's communicators.

Right now, Luster Dawn was within the Dynamax Den with some of the grunts and thieves, ready to obtain Galar Particles and return them to her Empress. But soon, it wouldn't be done with others as Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer had followed Luster Dawn to the den. They were hiding behind one of the many mounds of rocks in the den.

"Alright...What's the approach?" Starlight asked silently.

"This den's pretty big. Most of them have separated right now..." Sunset observed. "Luster looks like she doesn't have that many grunts and thieves by her side...So we get the jump on them, that's what we do."

"Really?"

"Really." Sunset narrowed her eyes at Luster Dawn who was only surrounded by 12 grunts and 4 thieves total. Sunset was confident about this approach as she already had one of her Poke Balls out and ready.

"Dynamax Particles...when are they going to show up already?" An annoyed Luster Dawn growled as she wanted to get this done immediately. The plan was already in danger of being sabotaged thanks to the arrival of Ash and the others.

"Hm?" One of the grunts stopped walking as her earpiece was finally picking up the words of her fellow Team Plasma members. The word was being passed on. While stopping, Luster Dawn and the rest went head. But soon, every other grunt received the message as they stopped walking to listen in on this. Very soon, it was just Luster Dawn and the Umbrage Thieves on their own.

"Lord Ghetsis ordered a return? Alright." The grunt nodded along with the others within the den. They already knew it was about Ash's arrival so no questions were asked. No one argues against Ghetsis anyway.

Sunset and Starlight noticed that the grunts were separating from the thieves and Luster Dawn after being called back to base.

"Returning? What about the Umbrage Thieves and Luster Dawn?" Starlight silently asked before pointing her hoof at Luster.

"I don't think they care about them at all...But this is our chance." Sunset grinned, finding the perfect opportunity to strike. And it didn't take long for Luster Dawn and the Umbrage Thieves to realize that they weren't being joined Team Plasma anymore.

"Hm? Hey!" Luster turned around, shouting at one of the grunts. "Where do you think you're going?!"

"Lord Ghetsis has called us back. Sorry, but you're on your own." The grunt scoffed as she walked away with her fellow grunts.

"No, you don't... The Empress gave an order and you'll-" The second she stepped forward, a blast of Psychic energy was shot near Luster Dawn's hoof, forcing her back. "Huh?!"

The blast of Psychic energy came straight for Sunset's Braixen and her Psybeam. She had promptly stopped Luster in her tracks.

"Braixen!" The Fox Pokemon twirled her stick around.

"You're not going anywhere!" Sunset declared as she let out a confident grin after saying. "Haha...I actually got to say that line...Yes!"

"Tch! If you're going to leave, at least deal with them." Luster pointed her hoof at Sunset and Starlight.

"You're on your own. Lord Ghetsis' orders are final." The grunts denied Luster Dawn as they continued on their way. They didn't have many quarrels with Sunset or Starlight and they weren't willing to listen to Luster Dawn at all.

"Urgh!" Luster Dawn groaned as it was just her and the Umbrage Thieves now. "Whatever! I can just get rid of you then continue the search!" She lit her horn up with a golden light, shooting magic out of it.

"Like that'll happen. Braixen! Use Psybeam!"

"Brai...Xen!" the Fox Pokemon put her stick out, firing a peculiar purple ray that clashed with Luster Dawn's magic as both attacks cancelled each other out.

"Hatterene! Try and restrain those thieves!" Starlight ordered. "Use Hypnosis!"

"Hatte...!" The Silent Pokemon widened her eyes as her body entire body shined a bright pink light, putting the thieves in a trance the moment their eyes met with the light.

Soon, the thieves down here had been caught by Hatterene's Hypnosis. And instead of controlling them, Hatterene chose to put them to sleep instead as each of the thieves suddenly dropped on the ground, dozing off.

"What?!" Luster Dawn turned around, witnessing the fallen ponies who were now sleeping.

"That wasn't so bad." Starlight crossed her hooves with a confident smile. "Nice work, Hatterene."

"Terrene."

"Not gonna high tail it out of here with a gateway?" Sunset taunted.

"I can't let the Empress down again. You already got in my way and cost me the cauldron before! I'm not leaving here...Not until I retrieve those Galar Particles."

"That kind of loyalty's gonna really make you lose, ya know? Like right now." The orange pony smirked.

"Yeah right! I'll obliterate you before I get those particles!" Luster declared as her eyes began glowing. Out of her body, a barrier of magic expanded, racing towards Sunset and the others while also harming the sleeping Umbrage Thieves who were still asleep.

Thinking quickly, Braixen put her brack out before, forming a large Fire Spin to try and keep the barrier back. The fierce vortex of flames met with the barrier, creating a collision and explosive reaction between the two.

Afterwards, Sunset, Starlight and Hatterene closed their eyes before the explosion expanded and intensified to a point where it could be considered blinding as the whole den shook.

Team Plasma's Blimp.

Ash and Pikachu had just arrived in the blimp, ready to rescue the Pokemon inside while everyone else handles the events happening on the outside.

"Lucario! Ash sent out his Lucario. "See if you find those Pokemon!"

"Lu!" The Aura Pokemon nodded in understanding as he quickly closed his eyes, using his Aura to try and detect the captured Pokemon within the blimp. The three of them got a move on while doing so.

And speaking of the blimp, the Team Plasma grunts were starting to re-enter it after being called back by Ghetsis. The blimp was about to leave soon, back to the world it was built in. Pyrestar's world, of course.

Those that retreated were previously in the midst of dealing with Twilight and everyone. But, they ended their battle before heading for the blimp. However, they knew that Twilight's group would pursue them, so some of the grunts were actually willing to stay behind and make sure none of that happens.

Whatever it takes to make sure the problem doesn't escalate.

As the last grunt entered the blimp with the doors closing, the remaining grunts who were still outside on the ground stood before Twilight and everyone, preventing them from advancing any further. The blimp's engines started up as it ascended into the air, blowing the grass away.

"Hey! They're getting away!" Rainbow Dash pointed her hoof at the blimp.

"Ash and Pikachu are still in there!" Fluttershy gasped.

"You're not going anywhere..." One grunt stated as the rest of them laughed. They knew they might end up falling and losing here. But as long as the blimp returns to the kingdom, they don't care. Their loyalty to Ghetsis was stellar. "Weezing! Haze!"

"Magneton, use Metal Sound!"

"Weez!"

"Magneeeeeeeee!" A pack of Magneton and Weezing got together to try and obstruct their foes. The group of Magneton emitted a horrible sound like scraping metal from their bodies, affecting the Pokemon since it doesn't exactly work on any other creature but Pokemon.

"A-Audino...!" Audino got the worst of this as multiple horrible sounds were coming her way, causing the Hearing Pokemon to fall to the ground. While the rest didn't take it as badly as Audino, they were still hit by all those scraping sounds that were torture to their ears.

"Audi!" Fluttershy went over to her partner, trying to cover her ears. At the same time, the Weezing all unleashed a black haze from their bodies, filling the area with them.

"Stop those Magneton, Cinderace! Use Pyro Ball!" Goh ordered.

"Clear the Haze with your wings Braviary!" So did Rainbow Dash.

"C-Cinder...!" Cinderace, held its ears from Metal Sound. It kicked up a pebble as it was trying to focus with this sound going off. But, that was difficult to do so. Not just because of Metal Sound, but because of the Haze. Luckily, Braviary was there to stop Haze.

Unfortunately, he was also struggling to focus with so many horrible sounds coming their way. In fact, one Metal Sound is enough to stop Braviary or any Pokemon in their tracks.

Multiple is just nigh-impossible.

"Too many sounds!" Applejack exclaimed. "They can't focus!"

"One Metal Sound is enough...What do we do?!" Fluttershy asked. Things were looking a bit difficult with these constant noises. But despite all, this Absol was able to slightly resist it due to his stubborn and resilient nature. But, even his stubbornness was being challenged with all this noise.

"We'll do this!" Twilight created a giant magic barrier around her friends. One that had the ability to block out any noise that would come this way. This was a useful and very successful spell since it had the needed properties to fend off against something like Metal Sound.

With the barrier covering everyone, the Pokemon no longer felt the horrible sounds coming through their ears as they all breathed in and out heavily.

Sadly, that didn't matter as the blimp had found enough time to take to the skies. With the remaining grunts holding Twilight and everyone back, they weren't able to advance at the moment.

"Oh no!" Twilight looked up to see the blimp passing through the gateway, making its getaway. As if that wasn't enough, the grunts were still active as some of them decided to come from behind, ordering their Pokemon to fire at Twilight's sound-blocking barrier.

"Breakthrough that barrier! Use Flamethrower, Honchkrow!" One grunt ordered her Honchkrowas the others did the same with their Pokemon.

Various ranged moves were now hitting Twilight's sound-barrier, trying to destroy it while the blimp was getting away. Twilight was starting to panic now due to these sudden circumstances.

"We'll try and do something, Twilight. Golett." Applejack turned to Golett.

"Gol?"

"You're a Ground and Ghost, right? Think you can do something to the ground and Ghost tricks for us?"

"Lett!" Golett saluted as it could certainly try.

"But what about Ash and Pikachu?!" Fluttershy asked.

"I...!" Twilight looked up at the blimp. She was already thinking of a way to try and reach him. But, Ash and Pikachu are determined to get those Pokemon back. They might not even care if they end up in another universe or anything.

However, before Twilight could act out her plan, she noticed something showing up high in the sky where the Haze wasn't blocking everything.

A purple sparkle was seen arriving here at high speeds in response to all the conflict happening at these peaks. And once that happened, Twilight's energy tracker started going off, beeping rapidly with the Psychic energy being shown. The alicorn princess quickly turned to the tracker, seeing that the Psychic signature was closing in on this location specifically before looking back at the sky. It was clear what this meant to Twilight.

"Is that...Mew?!" She gasped as everyone else turned to face the sky. The tracker made it sound like Mew was most definitely here and showing up to help. If that was the case. However, it wasn't Mew.

When the sparkle got close enough, it was soon revealed who it truly was.

Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo?!" Everyone exclaimed.

Mewtwo had shown up in response to the trouble happening in this location only. She appeared before everyone here. Even the grunts and Pokemon. But not Sunset, Starlight and Luster Dawn who were still down in the dens.

The Genetic Pokemon looked down at the grunts, narrowing her eyes as she already knew what she needed to do. Mewtwo descended to the ground as she intimidated Team Plasma from the first glance. She also noticed that the blimp had just passed through the gateway. Mewtwo knew it belonged to them due to the very visible Plasma logo on it.

"Tch. Looks like I have you all to myself then." The Genetic Pokemon eyed down the grunts.

"It really was Mewtwo..." Goh said under his breath.

"Yeah but...does this one sound more feminine to you?" Pinkie Pie noticed.

"Nevermind that! Look!" Twilight pointed her hoof up at the sky where the blimp was. Keyword being was. Unfortunately, the blimp had just passed through and the gateway had closed in the process.

They had just lost Ash.

Pyrestar's world. Team Plasma's blimp.

North wing of the blimp.

"What was that?" Ash had felt the blimp passing through the gateway as his body shuddered. "Did we pass through a gateway?"

"Pika?"

Lucario ran ahead as he could most certainly tell where the Pokemon were as he sensed everything here. Even the grunts themselves. "Lu!" Lucario then ran to the right as he was hot on their trail. But, being in enemy territory obviously meant that there would be those not too pleased with the intrusion.

Team Plasma grunts showed up, standing before Lucario, Ash and Pikachu with their own Pokemon. "Stop those three, now! Magneton! Discharge!"

"Muk, use Sludge Bomb!"

"Golbat! Sonic Boom!"

"Pikachu! Stop them Iron Tail!"

"Pika!" Pikachu jumped over Ash and Lucario before hardening his tail. As Magneton let out a flare of electricity from its body, Pikachu used the iron from Iron Tail to conduct the electricity, absorbing it onto his tail.

He also used the iron to nullify the poison of Sludge Bomb since Poison does not affect anything Steel. Afterwards, he swung his powered up electrified Iron Tail like a whip, sending Discharge back at three Pokemon and grunts. It also blew through Sonic Boom like it was nothing before hitting the Pokemon and the grunts in one go.

"Nice!" Ash gave a thumbs-up as he, Pikachu and Lucario ran past the defeated grunts and Pokemon.

"Pikachu!"

"Cario!" Lucario then sent a pulse of Aura through Ash's mind, communicating with him.

"The Pokemon are up ahead? Great!" Ash nodded as they began heading Northwest as fast as they could. Team Plasma practically knew that Ash was onboard at this point due to the instruction and cameras. But Ash didn't care. He was on a mission and determined to complete it.

"Ash Ketchum! Stop ri-"

"Shut up! I'm in a hurry! Electroweb!" Ash interrupted the grunts before Pikachu lit his tail up, sending a ball of electricity forward. The ball of electricity then formed into a web that immediately caught the grunts and Pokemon, pinning and electrocuting them in seconds. The grunts didn't even the chance to do anything.

The trio pursued with Lucario as the lead. At this point, they were no longer back in the other Equestria anymore. There were in this barren Equestria now.

Ash passed by the window as he immediately noticed this. He didn't stop to sightsee as he only had the mission to save the captured Pokemon here.

"Lucario!" Lucario finally found the room where the Pokemon were being captured as he used Force Palm to destroy the door, blowing it away as it hit the nearest grunt, sending her to the ground.

"Ough!" The grunt coughed before she was knocked out by the door. Obviously, with such an entrance, it would only make sense for the rest of the grunts to notice this as their heads flashed towards Ash, Pikachu and Lucario.

"Pardon the intrusion!" Ash exclaimed. "But we're here for the Pokemon!"

"He actually came through..." One grunt said.

"Lord Ghetsis isn't going to be happy about this." Another grunt uttered.

"Pikapi! Pika-Pika!" Pikachu noticed the many Poke Balls that were being held by Team Plasma in containers. An assortment of them, each having the Team Plasma symbol on it, making it clear that they were Plasma Balls.

"There, huh? Okay!" Ash nodded in understanding as he ran towards the containers on the table.

"Hey! Stop him!"

"Pikachu! Electroweb!"

"Chu-Pikachu!" Pikachu jumped in front of the grunts, preventing them from even touching his best friend. The Electric Mouse Pokemon summoned an orb of electricity before lunging it as it shifted into the shape of a web.

The web had flown forward, trapping and pinning the grunts onto the walls of the room before they could receive their Poke Balls. Lucario stood before the grunts, making sure that they don't escape as he crossed his arms. But that didn't matter since Electroweb would keep shocking them if they even made any sudden movements.

"Luca."

"Gotcha!" Ash grabbed the container of Poke Balls. So far, it was a success. Unfortunately, while they took care of the grunts here, the rest of the grunts who were on the blimp were still active as they had followed Ash, Pikachu and Lucario's trail of destruction. They knew that Ash was willing to save Pokemon so this was the most obvious place to show up at.

"There he is!" One grunt pointed at him. Soon, Ash and his Pokemon were fully surrounded.

"Guess we're a bit surrounded here, huh?" Ash observed.

"Place that container down kid..." One grunt walked forward. "You're already in deep water right now and around our kingdom. You wouldn't want things to get worse for you now, do you?"

"I ain't leaving until I get these Pokemon to safety."

"Pikachu!"

"Lucario!"

"Forget it. He won't listen to reason." Another grunt shook his head.

"Then in that case...Lord Ghetsis might promote one of us if we get rid of this kind once and for all!"

"Pikachu! Lucario! Cover me!" Ash ordered.

"Pika!" Pikachu and Lucario already knew what to do. Ash would have to get out of here with the Poke Balls. Pikachu and Lucario both used Aura Sphere on the ground to create a large smokescreen that filled the room with a yellow and blue haze.

"Lucario! Force palm on the wall!"

"Ca!" Lucario then turned around before smashing his paw into the walls of the room, creating a massive hole in the process. This hole would act as a way for Ash to leave this room.

"Thanks! Let's go!" Ash held the container tightly as he, Pikachu and Lucario jumped through the large hole, leaving this room and entering the hallway of the blimp.

Once the smoke cleared, the grunts who had their vision obscured by it could now see as they started coughing. Some of the smoke got straight into their mouths. They were now pursuing Ash as they followed him through the large hole that Lucario had made.

All the while, one of the grunts decided to contact Colress again, letting him know the important news. This was perhaps the most important news yet considering who was involved in it.

Colress' lab.

"Lord Colress! We have a major problem! Ash Ketchum is on the blimp right now! Here in this world!" The grunt explained shortly.

"Here?!" Colress gasped. He looked outside his window, spotting the blimp that had just returned. That was the one Ash was currently on. "Lord Ghetsis won't like this one bit...Hurry up and deal with him already!"

"Leave it." Ghetsis suddenly walked into the room, cutting Colress off and giving a new order.

"Huh? Lord Ghetsis? W-Why?" Colress stuttered, turning to Ghetsis and his Hydreigon.

"I have a better idea to deal with him." Ghetsis declared, having his own way of dealing with Ash right now. And it involved measures that would not benefit anyone but him. "We still have other blims to choose from after all."

"Another blimp?" Colress wondered what Ghetsis meant by that. But it was fairly clear as day what he was planning as he and his Hydreigon would be heading out for a short while to do one little thing that could remove all of their worries away.

East wing.

Ash, Pikachu and Lucario made it to the east wing of the blimp. Since there weren't many grunts of the blimp due to some of them staying behind in the other world, it was somewhat empty whilst also being crowded.

"There should be some Travel Spheres here maybe..." Ash began searching for Travel Spheres to try and find his way out of this place. He began looking through the windows of any nearby room that had some.

While searching, he and his Pokemon came across yet another grunt. This time, one with a Nidoking of all Pokemon by her side.

"Hold it!" The grunt held her hand out as Ash, Pikachu and Lucario stopped before the Drill Pokemon.

"Give me a break...!" Ash growled.

"Nidoking! Bulldoze!"

"King!" Nidoking stomped on the floor, shaking the blimp before changing towards Pikachu and Lucario.

"Pikachu! Iron Tail! Lucario, Force Palm, go!"

"Chu...Pika!" Pikachu hardened his tail with metal surrounding it before swinging it towards the Drill Pokemon. Lucario also ran forward, concentrating energy into his palm while Nidoking swung both of his large claws.

All three had collided, trembling the blimp even further as Pikachu and Lucario's combined might managed to push Nidoking back.

"N-Nido!"

"Use Outrage, Nidoking!"

"Nido...!" Nidoking's eyes glowed red as his body briefly became surrounded by a red aura. The Drill Pokemon then went on a rampage, only seeing three enemies in front of him. Ash. Pikachu. Lucario.

"Rio!" Lucario stepped forward, putting his arms forward and blocking Nidoking's incoming punch. Once Nidoking's hand met with Lucario's arms, yet again, the blimp trembled.

"Lu! Lucario!" Lucario spoke to Ash and Pikachu via Aura.

"Huh? You want us to go ahead?"

"Pika?"

"Luca!" He nodded in confirmation.

"Alright! We'll meet back up with you soon!" Ash held the container tightly as he ran off, leaving Lucario to deal with this. But before that, he took out another Poke Ball, sending his Gengar out for assistance. "Gengar! Help them out!"

"Gengar!"

"Nidoking!" Nidoking kept swinging at Lucario, trying to break through his defence with constant attacks. All of this was just damaging the blimp since Pokemon battles aren't usually on blimps. Before he could land another hit in, Gengar used Psychic by grabbing the Drill Pokemon with its mind, outlining him in a blue light. "K-King?!"

"Gar!" Gengar cackled before throwing Nidoking away, causing him to crash into his trainer.

"No-no-no-no!" The trainer put her hands out, running away before having the Poison-Ground-Type land on top of her. "Ow...!"

That one Psychic was powerful enough to deal with Nidoking as he had fainted right on top of the trainer, making it difficult for her to get up or even reach her Poke Ball.

However, even with the defeated Nidoking and grunt, other Pokemon were still to deal with as more grunts had shown to where Lucario and Gengear were. But, they weren't about to just let Ash's efforts go to waste. Not at all.

Ash kept advancing through the blimp, trying to find at least one room that had the Travel Spheres available. All the while, he was carrying many captured Pokemon in his hands via a container. He couldn't let them out of their Poke Balls now. Not until they had returned to their homes.

"One of these rooms has to have one..." Ash also saw that the doors had locks on them that could only be accessed via keycard. Or, even better, what Lucario did. Breaking the door down. And while Lucario was a bit busy right now, there was always Farfetch'd who had the strength to break the doors. Unfortunately, Dragonite, who was another strong contender, was back helping Twilight and everyone.

"No good...Maybe someone from Team Plasma has one..." Ash stopped running as he decided to try the grunts here. Those Travel Spheres were obviously portable.

Knowing this, Ash changed his direction, searching for grunts. That'll be much easier. But, he didn't need to search for long as one of the grunts came flying through the walls of the blimp due to Ash's Pokemon doing an amazing job of handling everyone on board.

"Agh!" The grunt cried out as her Zangoose flew through the walls as well, landing on her.

"Zangoose...!" The Cat Ferret Pokemon groaned.

"Nice timing!" Ash grinned as she rushed over to the grunt while she had been knocked out along with her Zangoose. He dug into the grunt's belt pocket.

"Y-You...b-brat...!" The grunt groaned, trying to grab Ash. But she was too weak to do so.

"Aha!" Ash got one Travel Sphere from the belt pocket. "Sorry, I'm borrowing this!" Now with a Travel Sphere, Ash could get a move on with his Pokemon. He picked up the container of Poke Balls, placing the Travel Sphere in his own Pokemon before rushing off to find his partners.

But, while everything goes well on the inside, outside, a different outcome is about to emerge.

Ghetsis stood on the outskirts of his kingdom, looking up at the sky where the blimp was. He could already see the large mobile airship rumbling. Most likely from Ash's Pokemon and a bit of Team Plasma's own Pokemon.

Ghetsis knew he couldn't take his chances when it came to Ash. He refused to let Ash stop him again. Not ever. And not anyone else.

"Hydreigon." Ghetsis pointed his finger at the blimp. "Hyper Beam."

"Hy...drei!" Ghetsis was planning to take the blimp out while Ash and his Pokemon were still on it. That was the best way he could see himself finally getting Ash out of his hair forever.

Even if that meant taking his own grunts out.

The Brutal Pokemon summoned a ball of purple and black energy, with a red aura in the centre and black sparks coming off of the ball. "Gon!" He then fired a purple and black beam from his mouth at the blimp, with an orange ring of aura bursting from around a part of the beam when it had been fired.

"Lu?!" Lucario was the first to sense this thanks to his Aura. He sensed imminent danger coming this way. One that threatened everyone on this ship. Knowing about what was coming, the Aura Pokemon quickly held Pikachu and Gengar in his clutches.

"Pikachu?!"

"Gen?!" Pikachu and Gengar wondered what Lucario was doing. Lucario had no time to explain. All he did was use his Aura to protect his friends by summing a large blue Aura that outlined them. However, Lucario was fearing for Ash. So, to save Ash, Lucario went a step further and expanded his Aura so that it would reach Ash.

Since Ash and Lucario have a powerful Aura connection and Ash's Aura is easy to track and read due to how grandiose it is, it didn't take long for Lucario to sense the Aura of his trainer. He was hoping that he could reach him in time.

And at that same time, Ash was trying to find his Pokemon. Thanks to Lucario's Aura guiding him, Ash could do just that. All he had to do was follow the Aura Trail.

That is if he can reach his Pokemon before Hyper Beam comes this way.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu was the first to notice his best friend showing up. Still in one piece.

"Pikachu! Gengar! Lucario!" Ash cried out as he rushed over to them as fast as he could, pulling out the Travel Sphere. "I got a sphere! Let's get out of here and-"

And that's when it happened.

Hyper Beam had hit.

In the split-second Ash took another step to run, the dark glow from Hyper Beam could be seen for a moment, coming through the blimp. But, it wasn't just the light that had come through. The beam had also come through.

The moment it hit the blimp, a ferocious and abhorrent eruption of Hyper-Energy happened on the spot, going over the entire blimp in seconds, consuming everything in its path. The grunts on the blimp had been engulfed by this dark and terrifying explosion as they perished within it, along with their Pokemon as every room was being taken out.

Ash's eyes widened as he had just realized that an explosion had come off and was about to hit him and his Pokemon as well. It looked like he was unable to activate the sphere before the explosion gets him.

But, in the blink of an eye and a nano-second, Ash and Lucario's Aura moved faster than anything in this ship and everything else. Even faster than the explosion before it could catch them.

The Aura exuded out of their bodies, flowing into the Travel Sphere of all things while still covering their bodies as shields. The Aura and Rift Energy within the sphere were colliding with each other, causing some sort of causal nexus in the process.

In that fraction of a second, the Rift energy from the sphere and Ash and Lucario's Aura merged, flashing out of the sphere before engulfing Ash, Pikachu, Gengar and Lucario in an even brighter Aura that now had cosmic sparkles within it. Representing the Rift of course.

And after that second was over, the paroxysm of devastating energy had engulfed their entire blimp as everything within it had been obliterated. Everyone, from the ponies living here and the rest of the grunts who were down below had witnessed this culmination of malice happen as the clouds had been split apart from it.

Ghetsis simply smiled as the blimp had been obliterated. And seemingly, everyone within it.

All that was left was the layout design of the blimp, which was all wood. The explosion of Hyper Beam had set the wood on fire as it fell from above. Purple and black particles rained down from above as Ghetsis cackled, believing that it was all over.

"There. No longer do I have to deal with that problem..." Ghetsis spoke as the remains of the blimp hit the ground with no sign of life left. The only thing there was Ash's hat.

Ghetsis picked up the hat as he would use this as a great reminder that he had finally gotten rid of his greatest threat once and for all.

Colress was just starstruck by what he had just seen. "Lord Ghetsis...You'll even take out our own forces for victory. Still as merciless as ever."

Petilil Plains. Afternoon.

Meanwhile, back with Twilight and everyone, they were still stunned at the arrival of Mewtwo. One that had a different voice, more on the feminine side.

"Is that the same Mewtwo...?" Rarity asked.

"Not sure..."

Mewtwo looked over at Twilight and everyone with an unchanging expression before changing her attention towards the grunts.

"Hmph." Mewtwo put her hand out, raising all of the grunts with Psychic, holding them all in place. There weren't many at the moment. Due to Mewtwo interrupting, the Pokemon that were originally pressuring Twilight and the others had their attacks be put to an end.

"Where are the Pokemon? Back in that world?"

"W-We haven't caught any Pokemon yet!" A grunt groaned.

"Tch." Mewtwo tossed them aside like ragdolls. "Consider yourselves lucky. Now leave...if you can head back home that is..."

With that order, the grunts started running away in fear of Mewtwo. The only way for them to head home was for one of them to use the Travel Spheres they held.

Applejack noticed a Travel Sphere in one of the belt pockets of the grunts. Before the grunt could get away, Applejack used her lasso, spinning and throwing it before latching it onto the belt pocket of the grunt.

"H-Hey!" The grunt had been held back by Applejack's lasso as her Travel Sphere was forced out of her belt pocket. Applejack and the group needed this for one important reason.

The grunt witnessed her Travel Sphere being taken. Originally, she planned to take it back, but Mewtwo was there and she didn't want to be involved with that even further.

One of the grunts used the Travel Sphere, opening it in a hurry, almost fumbling and tripping on himself because of his rapid worrying movements. He thought of where to go. Back to the kingdom, of course, as the gateway responded to his mind, opening up.

And just like that, all of Team Plasma left through the gateway in fear, leaving this world behind as the gateway ended up closing afterwards.

"Phew..." Goh sighed as he sat down. "Glad that's over with."

"Yeah. And we got one of these. So we can go and get Ash and Pikachu, no problem."

"Thanks for saving us Mewtwo!" Pinkie Pie thanked the Genetic Pokemon.

"I wasn't saving you." Mewtwo quickly shut her down. "I was only making sure that the Pokemon were alright."

"Oh." Pinkie pulled back with a scrunched face.

"Mew?" Mew looked over at his cloned counterpart, immediately seeing the similarities between him and her. Mewtwo was indeed a larger Mew.

"Hm?" And Mewtwo herself had noticed this. When looking at the Pokemon who were beside their trainers, her eyes locked on to the most prominent Pokemon here. "Mew? You have a Mew with you?"

"Sure do! Best pals! Isn't he the cutest?" Pinkie lifted Mew in the air.

"Mew-Mew!"

"I didn't think there'd be anyone out there to capture Mew...Unbelievable."

"Um...So, you're like a different Mewtwo." Rainbow Dash spoke. "I didn't think there was another one."

"Oh! We should call you Mewthree for sure! Or maybe even...Newtwo!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Absolutely not."

"So, do you know about the other Mewtwo then?" Fluttershy asked.

"Other Mewtwo?"

"There's another Mewtwo out there just like you. But he's in the Pokemon World right now. Probably. Ash and Pikachu once met him and we went-" Pinkie began explaining before Mewtwo cut her off after hearing two names come out of her mouth.

"Did you say Ash and Pikachu?"

"You know?" Twilight leaned in.

"I most certainly do. I'm greatly in their debt. My friends." Mewtwo actually let out a smile afterwards, showing a new expression. "Are they here?"

"They were but...they went ahead into that blimp to rescue the Pokemon inside." Twilight sighed. "Now they're over at Pyrestar's world...where Ghetsis and all of Team Plasma are."

"The only way we can go after them is with this thing." Applejack lifted the Travel Sphere. "A Travel Sphere, they call it. Can let us use those gateways for free."

"And they went in there despite the danger? That should be expected from both of them."

"Let's see if we can use it right now. Ash and Pikachu could be-" Applejack and everyone were worried about Ash and Pikachu considering where they were right now.

However, they wouldn't have to worry for long.

From above, another gateway had boomed in the sky, opening up and startling everyone. Frankly, they had enough of the gateway sounds for one day and just wanted to head home. Not before Ash and Pikachu first.

And speaking of which, there they were.

Falling from out of the gateway were Ash, Pikachu, Lucario and Gengar along with the container of Poke Balls that Ash had retrieved. They had survived the explosion of the blimp.

"Ash! Pikachu!" Everyone said with joy before realizing they were falling to their demise soon.

"Dra!" Dragonite couldn't let that happen as she took the skies, heading after her trainer and friends while Mewtwo watched. Either way, even if Dragonite couldn't get them, Mewtwo's Psychic certainly could.

The Dragon Pokemon put her arms out as she was only able to catch, Ash and Pikachu. But not Gengar and Lucario. Luckily, Mewtwo had her covered. By using Psychic, the Genetic Pokemon saved the Aura and Shadow Pokemon from falling and hitting the ground like meteors.

They were all safe as a collective sigh filled the air.

Ash and his Pokemon were placed gently on the ground while still unconscious. It could be from the explosion or the Aura that had been used. But, most of them wouldn't be unconscious for long. After being placed on the ground, Pikachu, Lucario and Gengar were waking up.

"Pi...Pikachu?" The Electric Mouse Pokemon groaned. His eyes opened as the first thing he saw was the gentle face of Dragonite and Fluttershy staring him down.

"Oh! You're awake!" Fluttershy gasped.

"Dra!"

"Pika...? Pikachu!" Pikachu jumped up, latching onto Dragonite's face with a hug. He was so glad to see her again along with everyone else.

"Luca..."Lucario sat up, holding his head while Gengar felt a bit dizzy. They were befuddled after what had just happened. From the explosion to the gateway travel entirely.

"Thank Celestia..." Twilight sighed. "But, what about Ash?"

What about Ash?

Unfortunately, while his Pokemon were conscious and awake, he wasn't. Right now, Ash was fully unconscious, not waking up or even showings signs of regaining consciousness.

"Ash? Ash!" Twilight gasped as she flew over, nudging him. "Ash, wake up! Oh no...!"

"What happened?!" Goh questioned.

"I don't know...It might be Delayed Aura Ataxia again...He didn't use a lot of Aura back there, did he?"

"Ca." Lucario stood up as he began speaking to Fluttershy, explaining that yes indeed, Aura was used. Lucario always knows when Aura had been used.

"Lucario says that Ash and him did use Aura." Fluttershy translated. "Looks like it knocked him out again..."

"Oh, Ash..." Twilight facehoofed. "Why are you like this?"

"Uh...hate to make things worse, but we're kinda forgetting something else." Applejack pointed her hoof to the east where the Dynamax Den was. "Ya'know...Luster Dawn and everything?"

"Oh, right. Weren't Sunset and Starlight going to deal with her?" Rainbow Dash replied.

"They might still be." Rarity turned to face the den. "Let's hurry! Before she captures any Pokemon and-"

"I'll handle this," Mewtwo said as she decided to take over for now. Everyone else seemed a tad bit exhausted, especially Ash. And for a friend, she'll take control. And since Ash was friends with Twilight and everyone here, then Mewtwo could trust them. For now at least.

The Genetic Pokemon looked ahead, staring right at the den. She then closed her eyes, letting only her Psychic concentration be her guide. Afterwards, in just 2 seconds, she was able to find who she was looking for.

"I'll be right back." And just like that, she teleported from the spot, appearing away from everyone's point of view. And once Mewtwo left, everyone turned to the unconscious Ash.

At this point, they weren't sure how long he'll be unconscious for now. But, it was most likely going to be more than just 4 days this time.

The Dynamax Den.

"Xien" Braixen had been pushed back after a sudden clash with Luster Dawn. So far, the Fox Pokemon and the protege of the Empress were seemingly on equal levels as Luster Dawn held her head. Starlight's Hatterene was also being a problem for her.

"Urgh!" She groaned. "You're just delaying everything!" Frustrated, she used the Chain Spell again, summoning multiple golden chains from an orb she conjured up.

"Braixen! Use Fire Spin!"

"Hatterene, use Psycho Cut!"

"Brai...Xen!" The Fox Pokemon spun around, summing a fierce vortex of fire that raged and burned away any incoming chains nearby. Or even just knocked them back.

"Hatt!" Hatterene used her tentacle claw to send out sharp tearing blades of Psychic energy that were powerful enough to cut through the chains. Sunset and Starlight were still safe and hadn't been harmed yet as Luster Dawn ascended into the air with her anger growing.

Furious, she tried her Vibration Spell to see if that would do the trick. The unicorn shot out a seismic wave of concentrated vibrations that went straight for her targets.

"Protect!"

"Hatterene!" Hatterene's eyes flashed as everyone ran behind her. The Silent Pokemon then put up a defensive pink shield around her friends as the vibrations crashed into Protect.

Hatterene felt a slight twitch and shock from her barrier being hit, but overall, she successfully blocked the vibration waves.

"Now, Braixen, Shock Wave!"

"Xien!" As the vibrations ended as Hatterene put down the barrier, allowing Braixen to advance as she jumped over the Psychic-Fairy-Type. The Fire-Type then stuck her tree branch out, shooting a rapid jolt of electricity out.

"Oh!" Luster Dawn gasped as she was able to avoid the Shock Wave in time. However, since it missed, it ended up hitting the Umbrage Thieves, damaging them. Even though they were still asleep. "Tch!"

"Braix...!"

"She sure is quick on her hooves..." Starlight observed.

"Right." Sunset nodded in agreement. "And enduring too...At this rate, we could be here all day if we don't do something about her."

"Then allow me to end this."

And there she was. Mewtwo. Ready to deal and put an end to this scuffle. The two Pokemon and the three unicorns looked up at the Genetic Pokemon afterwards.

"What now?!" Luster groaned.

"Sunset and Starlight, correct?"

"Y-Yeah, that's us." Sunset stuttered.

"Then, let me take it from here and deal with this problem."

"Hah! Deal with me?!" Luster Dawn scoffed and laughed. "What can you-" And just like that, the moment she scoffed at Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokemon used her great Psychic abilities to pull Luster Dawn towards her in seconds. "Woah!"

"Cocky child..."

"P-Put me down! Now! I'm the Empress' protege and-"

"Silence." Mewtwo cut her off as she had used Hypnosis on Luster Dawn, sending a spiralling blue Psychic wave that went into Luster's eyes.

"!" The protege gasped before falling under the trance of Mewtwo's Hypnosis. It was much greater than Hatterene's. And just like the Umbrage Thieves, Luster Dawn had fallen asleep.

"There." Mewtwo dropped Luster Dawn. "That's the solution to your problem."

"Sweet Celestia..." The unicorns gawked at how easily Mewtwo finished that.

"Do what you will with this one. Take her in if you can."

"Uh...S-Sure! Thank you uh...Are you Mew?" Sunset tilted her head.

"My name is Mewtwo."

Kanto. Pallet Town. Late Afternoon.

It was finally all over. Ash had been brought home, still unconscious as he had been placed on his bed by Mewtwo of all Pokemon. Everyone else stood by and watched. The Pokemon from the containers had also been freed with their Poke Balls destroyed, making them Wild Pokemon officially.

Mewtwo looked down at Ash while Pikachu climbed up to his best friend with a worried expression and tone. And why wouldn't he be worried. Yet again, the Aura Ataxia Disorder had kicked in.

"Pikapi..."

"My little Ash..." Delia whimpered. "How long will be unconscious for this time? Will it be shorter?"

"Let me check." Mewtwo decided to see for herself. She would use her great Psychic powers to look into Ash as she placed her hand on his head.

Afterwards, the room fell silent with everyone watching as Mewtwo closed her eyes, reading Ash's current and future condition. Then, she concluded as she pulled her hand away.

"Sorry. But it looks like he'll stay like this for weeks. 2 or 3 weeks to be exact."

"2 or 3 weeks!?" Twilight and everyone gasped. That was the longest one yet and they weren't sure if it would two or three that Ash would be out of commission for.

"Let him rest until then. You can all wait, can't you?"

"Well...there's an invasion coming soon in just one week so...I don't know about that..." Rainbow Dash shuddered.

"Invasion?"

"One of those ponies, the Umbrage Thieves are working for an Empress of another world. They're planning to invade our world in just 1 more week." Fluttershy explained.

"I see. Well, good luck with that." Mewtwo was about to leave here.

"W-Wait! Aren't you going to help us with the invasion?!" Spike asked.

"Only if the Pokemon are in danger. But...since you're all friends of Ash and he means so much to you, then when that comes, I will show up and lend assistance. Take care of Ash. And goodbye for now." Mewtwo had said all she needed to say. Before leaving, she looked at Mew, giving him a slight nod before teleporting out of here in a Psychic flash.

And that was the end of that.

"W-What about Luster Dawn? Where's she?" Applejack asked.

"She's being locked up right now. But, Princess Celestia suggested that it should be in the Pokemon World, where the Empress can't find her." Sunset explained.

"Well, you can all head home now." Delia turned to everyone. "Let Ash rest. Get yourselves for... you know...that invasion alright?"

"Thank you, Mrs Ketchum." They thanked the mother of Ash before walking out of the bedroom, leaving Ash to rest and for his Pokemon to be by his side.

"Pikapi..." Pikachu was the most hurt by this. He didn't know if he could go on with an unconscious Ash for this long. Probably not. Twilight was the last to leave the room as she got one last glance at Ash before leaving entirely.

1 week remains until the invasion arrives. As the journey continues.
