Zekrom's Rampage

Manehattan. Day.

Over at Manehattan, Celestia's forces occupied this area after emerging as the victors. They stood by, guarding Manehattan against any other approaching invading forces. Luckily, they've had time to recover after driving out the previous forces. And they can thank Princess Luna for that.

However, what they had to engage with next wasn't something they were expecting. And the sudden arrival of grey clouds covering the sun was a good indication of that. They looked up, noticing how grey clouds had appeared. They also heard the sound of thunder rumbling.

"Is it gonna rain now?" One soldier said.

"That could be a ton of help. That'll make using Electric-Type attacks more useful, huh?" Another replied as the others agreed with him with audible chatter.

Unfortunately, while that would be the case of the ships considering how practically everything from the Empress' side is just aluminium, the same most definitely does not apply to the approaching force of unbridled fury and loss of control that was coming this way.

And of course, with the sound of something roaring in the distance matching the sound of thunder, it was clear that Zekrom was approaching.

Actually, Zekrom had just arrived. After squinting their eyes, the troops noticed a giant black figure moving through the clouds at unreasonable speeds with purple eyes glowing through it all.

"What the..." One soldier said, getting a closer look at what he was witnessing.

The Deep Black Pokemon let out his thunderous roar as his imposing figure covered all of the troops and Pokemon before it. Zekrom flew by the first couple of buildings in Manehattan and immediately blew some of them away by just flying over them. And more of them were being ripped off by Zekrom's movements as they were hurled through the air, threatening to crash and smash anyone that was unfortunately in the way.

"Look out!" One soldier cried out, alerting everyone about the large falling halves of buildings. They all made a run for it as the ripped off building parts had crashed into the ground, causing some panic to ensue.

Thankfully, the Golurk could catch the falling chunks of building with their brute strength or just smash them entirely. The soldiers were saved from being crushed by large falling buildings. At least in the meantime. Zekrom's flying continued as his movements kept ripping them apart, causing the Golurk to act quickly by flying all over the place.

As if it couldn't get worse, Zekrom had descended. And when he descended, the moment he made contact with the ground, the sheer landing strength of the Deep Black Pokemon was so stellar that not only did the ground below shake, rumbling the buildings, but he had also caused an immediate ground tsunami to arrive.

This earth wave managed to demolish the nearby buildings while also forming a giant crack on the ground. And from that crack, the ground tsunami showed up. Large chunks of rocks the size of most of the road erupted, scattering all over the place instead of just one single line as usual.

The Golurk had been caught by this as the huge dust from the ground tsunami engulfed them while also catching some of the falling buildings, destroying them before they could even hit the ground.

"Gol!" A wall of Golurk stood by, using Protect to nullify the ground tsunami. And it ended up working. The earth wave came to an end when connecting the protective screens of the Golurk.

But while that was a success, the surrounding area, not so much. Hundreds of buildings had been destroyed by Zekrom's mere flying movements and him descending. As if that wasn't enough, the aftermath of the ground tsunami left a visible gap in the ground. Almost as if a chasm had been formed. But not as wide. Not even the ships had done this much damage.

"Sweet Celestia..." Some of the guards looked down, witnessing the gap and obliterated buildings. Now they had a new problem to deal with. Zekrom roared at the soldiers, Golurk, Probopass and other Pokemon before them, causing their mane, fur or whatever to blow in the wind. Except for Golurk and Probopass considering their exteriors. But they were certainly pushed back by the roar either way.

Zekrom roared, trembling the ground below as the Golurk all flew towards the Deep Black Pokemon, seeing him as an immediate enemy. Being Ground-Type Pokemon, none of Zekrom's Electric attacks are a threat at all.

But Zekrom didn't need those to cause major damage either day. In fact, Zekrom really didn't need to use moves at all to do much anyway. The moment the Golurk got close, trying to strike the Deep Black Pokemon with whatever moves they had in their arsenal, Zekrom clapped his large wings together, forming an immediate seismic wave of shockwaves that spread out in a radius position. AKA, a thunderclap.

"Lurk!" All of the Golurk had been blown back at the speed of light by Zekrom's thunderclap. Buildings crumbled from the sheer strength of this as even the clouds themselves altered their shapes.

"A-Aaaah!" Soldiers had been blown back by Zekrom's thunderclap as well. Even their armour was sent flying off as more of the ground shattered with large stone cubes rising from them.

The rest of the Pokemon couldn't stand their ground as they suffered the same fate as the soldiers and Golurk as well. Some of them either tumbled on the ground, crashed into the ground, went flying through buildings or just hit the walls of buildings instead and came to a halt.

A tower in Manehattan started tipping over thanks to the thunderclap as it threatened to land on a group of Pokemon and ponies that had been knocked to the ground. Not just one tower, but 3 more since that was the maximum that Manehattan had.

Glass shards from the ruined buildings fell, almost hitting the ponies and Pokemon. And with the armour of most of the soldiers being blown off, they were at greater risk of taking heavier damage now.

Some of the Golurk resisted as they attacked Zekrom either way. They shot Flash Cannons, Shadow Balls, Stone Edges and even an Ice Beam as well. Zekrom flew into the air, soaring forward as he evaded all of those incoming attacks with ease by either rolling or flying over them.

Some Golurk approached him with their physical-based moves such as Shadow Punch, Superpower and more. One Golurk managed to hit Zekrom in the face with Hammer Arm but was instantly smacked away by Zekrom's claw swipe. The Deep Black Pokemon then whipped his tail a couple of Golurks before ascending into the air, evading an incoming Shadow Punch.

Zekrom then used Dragon Pulse, shooting a giant dragon-shaped shockwave from his mouth, blasting some of the Golurk to the ground. Some Golurk got behind Zekrom, catching him by surprise with multiple Flash Cannons and Ice Beams. Zekrom took notice of this as he lit up his wings with Steel Wing, smacking the Golurks that attacked from behind with pure metal.

Some Golurk tried to push Zekrom down as they pressed their hands onto the Deep Black Pokemon. But, not even the Golurk could push Zekrom back as the Dragon-Electric-Type roared, blowing the Automaton Pokemon away.

Zekrom then opened his mouth, ready to use Hyper Beam. But he wasn't going to use it on the Golurk, knowing their immunity to Normal, instead, he was just going to blast the area with Hyper Beam.

The sound of Hyper Beam building up infinity energy and power could be heard. It sounded like a generator being turned on. Zekrom puffed his chest as this was a good indicator that this Hyper Beam would be a behemoth of an attack. One that everyone, aside from the Golurk, should probably avoid at all costs.

That is if they could escape in time.

After building up enough power, Zekrom released a colossal orange beam of infinity energy that tore through the atmosphere itself while also racing at speeds too hard to keep up with. The Hyper Beam engulfed numerous buildings instead of just blowing up upon contact. Zekrom made sure that this was continuous. The Golurk held the soldiers and Pokemon for protection or even just stood over them as shields.

Hyper Beam obliterated most of the ground along with the Manehattan Contest Hall and all of the beautiful decorations within it. The Golurk had successfully protected the ponies and Pokemon with their large and wide bodies and them being naturally bigger than all of them. But they couldn't protect everything else.

The Crystaller Building had been consumed by Hyper Beam, coating the skyscraper in its infinity energy. The school of Babs Seed had been caught as it seemed that Hyper Beam was growing in size, catching more and more along the way. The theatre of Bridleway had the whole upper section blown off as Zekrom then started turning around with Hyper Beam.

Hyper Beam then rotated, destroying more on its path as the Ice-Skating Rink fell as well. The beautiful park of wide fields of grass and flowers along with the gorgeous rivers weren't safe either.

Practically nothing was safe. The diner, the flea market, toy store, Manefair Hotel and even the Rock pouch store had been caught up by Zekrom's rampaging beam. Eventually, the beam came to an end. But not before causing some extra destruction in the form of an explosion.

After Zekrom closed his mouth, the aftermath of Hyper Beam caused a frenzy of explosions that went in all different directions, correlating with Zekrom's directions when he used Hyper Beam to move around. Yet again, the Golurk being the shields worked as nopony had been harmed but the same couldn't be said for the city as a plethora of explosions wouldn't stop going off.

Soon, Manehattan was now a light show large explosions that could be seen from the sky or even far. But eventually, they had to come to an end. And the result of this was catastrophic.

The only thing that remained intact was the Mare Statue. It had been untouched by Zekrom's Hyper Beam considering the distance between it and the rest of the buildings. In fact, the ponies of Manehattan were taking shelter on the island where the Mare Statue was.

They looked over at the distance, witnessing Zekrom destroying everything before their eyes. And destroy he did. Once the smoke cleared, almost everything they knew had been totalled.

Buildings had either been melted, completely obliterated and wiped off the map or were just barely hanging in there with scaffolding falling apart. Large holes, rubble and smoke only remained. And there was even a giant crater as made from the result of Hyper Beam hitting the ground with all those explosions.

Manehattan was now a collapsed, ravaged, demolished and ruined city. No longer the beautiful, bustling and dazzling city it once used to be.

Zekrom declared victory once more as he roared into the sky. The Golurk, soldiers and other Pokemon were buried or hidden by the excessive smoke and rubble formed from the explosion. Zekrom could barely see signs of them anywhere.

Then Zekrom's eyes flashed purple again as his head twitched. He kept hearing the voice of the Empress, telling him to continue rampaging as the savage energy stored inside of him wasn't expiring any time soon.

The Deep Black Pokemon then flapped his wings, taking to the skies once more as his rampage continued.

Faye Mountains. The Changeling Hive. Day.

Over at the hive, Celestia and Passion were both unconscious. After trying to defend against a rampaging Zekrom's Hyper Beam, they had both been blown out of the sky and crash-landed near the Changeling Hive.

Needing immediate medical attention, Chrysalis and the changelings brought the fainted alicorn and Gardevoir into their hive to heal them. The two were placed on a soft cocoon bed, one that acted differently than the cocoons that are meant to imprison others. Chrysalis often uses this to recover when major damage has been to her and her subjects. A shame the previous ones were destroyed in the old hive thanks to Ghetsis.

There they laid. Their eyes whited out, their mouths open and their bodies unresponsive. Zekrom's Hyper Beam had put them in such a horrible state. It was so bad that even Celestia's regalia had been damaged along with a burnt horn from trying to hold the Hyper Beam back. That wasn't the only thing that was burnt. Passion's arms as well had burn marks from trying to stop Hyper Beam as well.

The cocoon glowed a green mystical colour as Ribombee used Pollen Puff for extra healing properties. Chrysalis also did the same by adding some healing magic onto the fainted Trainer and Pokemon.

"What happened that caused this?" Chrysalis wondered while healing them. She's been doing this for minutes now and Celestia and Passion weren't showing signs of waking up any time soon. Groans couldn't even be heard. But their heartbeats could be heard either way.

Chrysalis then took a moment to realize what was happening before her and how far she's come. Just last year and before, she had a conflict with Celestia and Canterlot overall. Now she was here helping Celestia herself. She can thank a certain Pokemon Trainer and Pikachu for helping her get here and Ribombee as well.

Some of the Fairy-Type Pokemon that live in the Faye Mountains helped out as well. They used their own healing capabilities on the two of them. Celestia and Passion were just covered everywhere by multiple healing auras of various colours. Mainly green, pink and sometimes purple.

While healing, a changeling came into the healing room to give out some important news. "Your majesty. We have visitors. One of them is Adagio Dazzle."

"Hm? Adagio?" Chrysalis turned around lowering her magic. "Let them in. I'll go see Adagio and whoever this may be." Chrysalis left the healing room to greet the visitors. Especially Adagio who she wasn't exactly friends with but they had respect for each other. Sort of a mutual relationship than anything.

The cocoon was left to continue healing Celestia and Passion until they're back to full strength. When exiting the healing room and heading for the entrance, Chrysalis was met with the sight of Arcanine, Adagio and Sunset Shimmer. Plus Kricketot as always.

Arcanine had led them here by his sense of smell. He tracked down the scent of his own Celestia immediately after she was sent flying. It always pays to have a dog-like Pokemon for excellent tracking senses with their noses.

Or a Slurpuff, that works too.

"Arcanine."

"Adagio. What brings you here? And um your friend over there."

"Sorry for the intrusion. But Arcanine over here tracked down Celestia and Passion to your new hive. You see, they were just sent flying after-"

"Celestia? Passion? Yes, they're in here." Chrysalis interrupted, already confirming that Arcanine was right and this was the right place to be at.

"They are?!" Both Adagio and Sunset said as Arcanine immediately ran inside of the hive without hesitation. After that confirmation, how could he not check up on his Trainer and teammate? Afterwards, Sunset and Adagio followed the Legendary Pokemon indoors with Chrysalis going last.

"Arca! Arcanine!"

There they laid. Silent and unable to continue at the moment. With all the Fairy-Type Pokemon surrounding them long with the cocoon, it was hard to tell if they could be fully recovered in time to help with the invasion. Or if this world would've been conquered by the Empress before they could even wake up.

Arcanine went up to his friends, seeing them in such a state he wished he would never have to see. All the Pokemon backed away as the Legendary Pokemon approached, looking down at Celestia and Passion's whited-out eyes. He nuzzled his nose onto both of them while also letting out a howl that filled the air. That's all he could really do.

"Oh my goodness..." Sunset let out a prolonged gasp after seeing Celestia and Passion there.

"They're both being recovered by our healing cocoons and the Fairy-Type Pokemon. Plus my own healing magic as well. But...the damage they've taken is so great that it might take longer than a day for them to fully recover." Chrysalis explained. "What exactly happened to them?"

"They battled against Zekrom." Adagio turned to Chrysalis.

"Zekrom?"

"A Legendary Pokemon. It was sent out by the Empress herself to cause a rampage over Equestria. Princess Celestia and Passion trying to stop Zekrom, but it was too strong. They were both hit by a pretty bad Hyper Beam that even broke their defences. And it even launched them far away with how strong it was. That's how they ended up here." Sunset explained.

"I see." Chrysalis then turned to Celestia. "Wait! Doesn't that mean Zekrom is still on a rampage?!"

"Yeah." Sunset nodded with a sigh. "It could be anywhere right now. We want to hurry as soon as we can to try and stop Zekrom if we can. Zekrom could even appear here to this hive."

"But on the bright side, we have this." Just then, Adagio showed the Magic Siphoning Jar to Chrysalis, revealing the magic that they had retrieved. "Most of the Empress' magic in this jar right here."

"You retrieved it?!" Chrysalis gasped. "You actually did it?!"

"Sure did. And you can thank Celestia for the distraction." Adagio nodded. "Now that we have this, that so-called Empress is weaker and more vulnerable now. I'd say at least a million alicorn essences are within this."

"And uh...that's kinda why she released Zekrom on Equestria." Sunset squeed.

"Well, new surprises keep coming this way, don't they?" Chrysalis pondered for a bit, thinking about her closest friends. "Do Ash and Fluttershy know about Celestia and Passion state? Or even the rampaging Zekrom?"

"No, I don't think so." Sunset shook her head. "But they're definitely gonna notice Zekrom eventually. Maybe they already have."

That's when Chrysalis came to a decision. She pulled out her Xtransceiver, having two things in mind. To spread information about Celestia and Passion and of course, Zekrom's current movements. "We need to warn them about Zekrom. And inform them of Celestia and Passion. How long do you think it will take for Zekrom to appear here?"

"Judging by how fast it moves and how quickly it destroys everything...I'd give it a few hours or less." Adagio answered.

"Then there's no time to lose." Thus, Chrysalis selected Fluttershy's Trainer ID first.

Equestria. Canterlot. Day. 10 minutes earlier.

Over at Canterlot, the shelter had been taken in the Canterlot mines. Ever since Princess Cadence was trapped there during the Canterlot Royal Wedding, it's become more well known to everypony in Canterlot, making it their de facto shelter. Plus the crystals here were just nice to look at.

The older Flurry Heart from the invading world and Premium Polish were among those who had taken shelter with everypony else in Canterlot. They've been sitting here for hours now as some of them had already fallen asleep, waiting for this invasion to be all over.

Noticeably, the Legendary Pokemon that is commonly seen resting here at Canterlot Gardens to replenish his health, Reshiram, was nowhere to be found. He was already energized and powered up thanks to the summer sun but it's unknown if he's made a full recovery. He wasn't present at Canterlot at the moment.

Everypony waited patiently with their Pokemon while also dozing off. Twilight Velvet slept with her Kirlia in her hooves, Fleur De Lis was laying next to her Milotic, Moondancer to her Umbreon and more. Either awake or asleep. However, very soon, those that were asleep would be greeted to something that would wake them up.

Just then, without warning, the ground trembled, causing the crystals to rattle and pebbles to fall from below. That trembling was followed by the sound of something hitting the ground. Almost as if a giant was moving.

"What was that?" Night Light spoke as some of the ponies woke from that first sound.

"An earthquake?" Flurry Heart looked around as her ears twitched. Then another came. The same sound with another tremor but this time, it sounded like it was getting closer.

"I don't know what it is but I don't like it..." Premium held onto Flurry Heart's hoof, trembling in fear. That wasn't the only thing trembling. Each passing second, around 8, those sounds came closer with the tremors only increasing. It was a good indication that something big was nearby. Many believed that the invading forces had shown up to Canterlot.

The younger ponies were definitely the most intimidated by this as the closer and louder the footsteps went, the more the remaining asleep ponies had been alerted. They all collectively opened their eyes at the same time, gasping after feeling and hearing the sound of the heavy footsteps.

Naturally, panicking emotions were starting to fill the atmosphere. Many ponies believed that all of this battling during the invasion might reach the earth below, destroying it. Worried that things might be going poorly from above, Flurry Heart, still having the curious nature she had when she was a baby, decided to take a quick look. Not interact but see what exactly was happening out there.

Because from what she could pick up on, while there was something heavy and large moving about, it didn't sound like anypony was fighting at the moment. The sounds of the Canterlot Guards couldn't be heard either. Something was up.

"Flurry Heart? W-Where are you going?" Premium whispered as she hopped off of Flurry Hearts hoof.

"Just gonna take a quick look. Don't worry. I've got a pretty great friend of mine that'll help protect me." She then revealed the Ultra Ball that held Giratina within it.

"Still not sure that's a good idea, Princess." Moondancer shook her head in uncertainty. Everypony else stayed together with the crystals starting to shatter from the footsteps. Giratina could also feel this trembling despite being inside of a Poke Ball.

However, when climbing out of the mines, Flurry Heart was met with the sight of the Canterlot Guards and Soldiers gazing up at something. That something had already cast a shadow over the castle as well, causing their jaws to drop. At the first glance, when Flurry Heart saw their faces, it could point to there being an enemy of such a gigantic stature that Celestia's forces were just overwhelmed and frozen with fear by merely seeing it.

Except, while it was certainly of a stupidly gigantic stature, it wasn't an enemy. Especially after the guards had seen the group on some certain individuals either flying or riding on this being.

This was, of course, Gigantamax Machamp. Joined by the older dragon Spike, this world's younger Spike, Twilight, Big Mac, Starlight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Trixie, Goh and their Pokemon. They had shown up to Canterlot in a somewhat dramatic entrance.

"Oh!" Flurry Heart moved back a bit, hiding and not wanting to reveal her identity just in case. Twilight could most likely figure Flurry Heart out from just one glance. Machamp's gigantic footsteps came to an end as he stopped by, placing those that were riding on his shoulder down via having his arm act as a slide.

Twilight descended, wanting to know one thing. Where Princess Celestia went? She went over to the nearest befuddled guard who was still looking at Machamp. And of course, the giant Spike.

"Excuse me."

"Princess Twilight." The guard quickly snapped back to his senses, facing the young alicorn.

"Can you perhaps tell us where Princess Celestia went?" Twilight requested. "To try and stop the Empress I mean."

"Princess Celestia? Apologies but she could be anywhere. right now against the Empress." The guard shook his head. "She hasn't returned. Most likely still out there assisting with Sunset Shimmer and Adagio Dazzle by her side."

"Alright. Thank you. But now we won't know for sure where she is. I'm actually very worried right now..." Twilight shuddered, thinking of what the worst-case scenario for Celestia could be. Knowing how powerful the Empress was, Celestia could be in grave danger.

"That's a shame. I was hoping that she could find a way to free Discord without the Elements." Fluttershy flew over to Twilight and the guard as Audino was currently holding the petrified Discord.

That's when Flurry Heart's ears had twitched. Hearing about Discord being petrified on the spot meant only one thing. Her auntie was the cause of this. And knowing what point in time this world is in, the chances of Discord being freed from his petrified state could be considered impossible. Unless...

"I know of a way!" Feeling the urge to help, Flurry Heart teleported out of the mines, appearing next to the guard and fully exposing herself to Twilight and everypony else that wasn't aware of her. Everypony immediately focused all of their attention on the pony in front of them.

And the first glance from Twilight's group went as followed. Horn. Wings. Regalia. All fairly standard alicorn traits. Actually, seeing an alicorn, let a random one threw them off. But more importantly, their reaction to the rest of this alicorn. AKA the mane style and colour pattern. Only one pony in Equestria had that mane style and she was an infant at this point. And the name of that pony was uttered by Twilight's group and another group that had also come here to speak with Princess Celestia.

"Flurry Heart?!" Twilight's group and, the newly arrived group consisting of Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, younger Flurry Heart and their Pokemon each said.

"Gah!" The young alicorn shifted to the front and back, looking at both sides. One of her auntie and one of her parents. "Ah! I goofed up!"

"Eugh..." Premium winced as she hid in the mines, knowing that the secret was out and the cover had been blown. Especially to the three ponies that Flurry Heart hoped she would never have to attract.

"Wait..." Cadence started putting the pieces together as she recognized that voice from somewhere. Approximately just 2 days ago before this whole invasion broke out. The last time she heard this voice, it came from a pony by the name of Opalshore. "Opalshore?"

"What the..." Rainbow Dash, Goh and Spike each said as their jaws dropped along with everyone else's. Trixie, who had a poker face, quickly took out a camera and snapped a picture of the newly seen alicorn.

Shining Armor looked at his baby daughter and then back to his alternate universe daughter. He did this a couple of times, trying to adjust and process everything his eyes and mind were experiencing. Noticeably, baby Flurry Heart was unphased. But she did giggle.

"Eehehe..." Flurry Heart giggled nervously. "Surprise?"

"You're from another world, aren't you?" Cadence went up to Flurry Heart.

"Yeah..." The young alicorn rubbed the back of her mane with her hoof. "Guess the jig is up. Didn't even last that long...But, at least I get to finally show myself to you. Mom." When saying mom, her heart started tightening, as if it was a word that was satisfying to say. And for a good reason. She was speaking to her mother up-close with her real appearance and instead of being in disguise.

"Hang on. You from the other world that's invading right now?" Applejack asked.

"We can explain everything." The guard said. Princess Celestia had already informed all of the Canterlot Guards about the existence of another Flurry Heart in this world not too long ago. "At least as simple as we can. Princess Flurry Heart comes from the invading world but as an ally. She helped to retrieve an important book from the Empress and even participated in the pushback of the invasion with Queen Pyrestar, allowing us extra time to prepare for this invasion. She is essentially wanted by the Empire so for the time being, she shall be residing here in this world. Specifically in Canterlot for protection and vice-versa."

"Uh...yeah, what he said." Flurry Heart nodded. "Sorry if I startled you all. I wasn't supposed to reveal myself but I couldn't help it after hearing what Fluttershy said."

"Why not?" Cadence asked. "You could've shown us."

"Well...you know..." Flurry Heart sighed as she started to quiver. "I didn't want to cause any confusion and stuff but...didn't really matter that much and well...you know..." She was finding it hard to finish the rest of her sentences as she looked Cadence and Shining Armor in the eye. "You know...even though I wanted to really see you again. I mean I did back at the Crystal Empire but..."

"Are you okay?" Rarity noticed Flurry Heart's constant shuddering and the slight sounds of whimpering.

"Yeah, it's just..." Flurry Heart whimpered before replying. She wasn't sure how to fully finish this conversation off or where to go from here. Just then, she suddenly gave both Cadence and Shining Armor one big hug, wrapping her hooves around them. "I really missed you, mom and dad!" That's when she broke out into tears. But, this was something she needed considering what she's had to live through for so long back in her world.

"Oh..." Cadence then realized why Flurry Heart was so upset when she first met her under the disguise of Opalshore. It wasn't because of Skyblue Shine and Premium Polish. No. The fact that she placed missed and mom and dad in the same sentence made Cadence and Shining Armor put the pieces together.

After that, they both patted their alternate universe daughter in the back, comforting her. It had been so long since somepony had comforted Flurry Heart like this. Princess Celestia did the same but it wasn't quite on par with parental comfort. She was letting all of her tears out. Every last one of them. She hasn't cried this much in ages. But these weren't cries of sorrow. They were cries of joy. The best kind of cries to many.

"There, there." Both of them said to their alternate daughter while the younger Flurry Heart of this world decided to pull on her older self's face. "Whatever happened, we're here now, alright?"

"Thanks, mom, dad." Flurry Heart pulled her tears back in before letting out a sniffle. She then wiped away the tears, trying to regain her composure after letting it all out. That's when she quickly remembered why she showed herself. "Oh, right! I mentioned how I know of a way to free Discord!"

"Really?!" Fluttershy flapped her wings, hovering above the ground. "How?!"

"Well, you see...Auntie sort of uses the Elements of Harmony from her old friends. She found a way to bring back the original elements and use them for herself."

"Bring them back? Wait...so they were destroyed in your world?" Twilight narrowed her eyes, wanting to know everything. "Is the Tree of Harmony still there?"

"It still is." Flurry Heart nodded. "She even uses that as well. Because of that, she was able to turn my parents to stone and everypony else from other worlds. But she doesn't do it alone. She uses her old friends to do it."

"Old friends?" Pinkie Pie spoke.

"Uh well..." Flurry Heart found this next part hard to explain. This would come off as disturbing. Even more disturbing than turning someone into stone. Indeed, the Empress cannot just turn someone into stone by herself. She requires the rest of the Elements of Harmony. But, the methods are far different from how they were before.

"She um...She forces you all to turn anypony she wants into the stone." Flurry Heart pointed directly at Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie respectively. "That's how she does it?"

"By her own will? What about her friends?" Cadence asked.

"Not sure they're friends anymore." Flurry Heart shook her head. "But anyway, that's the only way to free Discord. The same way he was freed before with the Elements of Harmony. All we have to do is save them. They don't want to turn everypony into stone because of what auntie disagrees with and hates. But they can't do much since auntie's just too powerful."

"That does sound like the only way." Starlight turned to Twilight. "But are they gonna trust us to use the elements? I mean, if they've been forced for so long then..."

"They'll trust me." Flurry Heart intervened. "But I don't have the Element of Magic so I can't do anything about it. But you can, auntie."

"Wait. How? They don't have the elements anymore, right?" Goh scratched his head.

"In my time, the Elements along with the Tree of Harmony were fully destroyed by King Sombra. But years later, auntie brought them back. And in this world, it seems like that moment in time hasn't happened yet." Flurry Heart explained. "The Elements haven't been destroyed yet."

"She's right." And Twilight followed up on that. The Elements of Harmony are still here in this world. Just one with the Tree of Harmony again. Even if Luster Dawn blew up the Everfree Forest, the underground was unaffected. Just the surface. So it's definitely still there. It's been a while since we've used them anyway but it's 100% worth a shot. Let's bring Discord back as soon as we can."

"What about the other us in the other world? Shouldn't we go and help them?" Pinkie Pie suggested.

"If she's just casually forcing them to utilize the Elements of Harmony, then they must be absolutely drained," said Rarity, agreeing with Pinkie Pie's suggestion along with everypony else.

"Alright. And we'll save our other-selves. T-Their other-selves, not mine." Twilight then finished her sentence.

"Oh. I almost forgot about the Elements of Harmony..." Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness...I know it'll work. It has to after all"

"Should probably hurry then. This invasion's not slowing down. It's only getting worse and we'll need all the help we can get from wherever." Twilight turned around, ready to leave towards the Everfree Forest.

But before they could, they heard something in the far distance rumble, giving their hearts a short little skip after hearing it. The roar was so loud that its echo could eclipse most of Equestria. Which it did. Obviously, Zekrom was the one that caused it.

"Audino?" And of course, Audino was the first to hear it.

"What was that...?" Trixie gulped.

"Don't know but I don't like it." Starlight shook her head.

"Espeon..." Espeon felt a bad feeling in her stomach as if something terrifying was coming this way. And so did everyone else. The roars became louder as explosions could be heard in the far distance.

"W-We should get going right about now." Twilight shuddered as she and everyone were making their way towards the Tree of Harmony while some were heading back to Ponyville for safety or in Trixie's case, Undella Town with her school.

"What about great auntie?!" Flurry Heart pranced on the spot, worried about Celestia's current status. Going up against the Empress is a terrifying approach. Especially considering the situation right now."

"We do not have her location still. But rest assured, have good faith." The guard said, trying to calm Flurry Heart down. But as Twilight and the others were about to take off, Fluttershy's Xtransceiver started ringing.

"Hm?" She took it out from her saddlebag to see who was calling. It was Chrysalis. "Chrysalis?"

"Fluttershy! Oh thank goodness, you're alright. You need to come and see and hear this quickly! Have you seen Zekrom anywhere?!"

"Zekrom?" Fluttershy raised an eyebrow. "I've heard of that name but...no, I haven't seen it anywhere."

"Wait, Zekrom?" Twilight and the others slid over, staring right at the screen with Fluttershy.

"So not yet. Then you should most definitely come over and see this. It's Princess Celestia and Passion. They're greatly damaged at the moment."

"What?!" All at once, everyone, including the guards shouted out at the top of their lungs. This was major news to had to be seen for themselves.

The Changeling Hive. Day.

"Princess Celestia!" And once they did arrive, the reaction was to be expected. Their wonderful ruler of Equestria along with her partner Passion, laid on the healing cocoon unconscious. Seeing this brought them back to when Ghetsis had first injured Princess Celestia greatly. That Sorrowful Rage magic within Twilight was just begging to show itself again after seeing a good friend of hers in such a state.

"Great auntie!" Flurry Heart gasped.

"W-What happened?!" Twilight asked.

"Zekrom happened," Sunset replied. "After we managed to absorb most of the Empress' magic, she unleashed Zekrom onto Equestria, commanding it to cause a rampage. Princess Celestia and Passion tried to stop Zekrom but..."

"Wait, you mean Zekrom's still rampaging?!" Rainbow Dash flew up. "Is that what that roar was?"

"Probably. If Zekrom isn't stopped then all of Equestria might as well be torched by all that lightning." Adagio replied as Anthophilia was pulling on her giant mane.

"Celestia and Passion might not recover until tomorrow. Even with all of these Fairy-Type Pokemon and the Fairy magic exuding from the Faye Mountains themselves, the process isn't as effective as we wish it could be." Chrysalis sighed before turning to face the duo. "Sorry, but that's all I can say for now. All we can do is wait and try to stop Zekrom. I'd rather not lose another hive, after all."

"Stopping Zekrom is probably for the best." Rarity nodded. "But we should free our friend from stone first before that. We might even bump into Zekrom along the way."

"Oh!" Fluttershy then exclaimed. "Then that means Ponyville is in danger of being destroyed by Zekrom! We need to go now! Everypony in Ponyville and the Pokemon House could-"

"We'll go." Twilight interrupted, calming Fluttershy down. "We should at least get to Ponyville and the Tree of Harmony before Zekrom probably does. If it's nearby."

"Can we even stop Zekrom?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"All of us together could stop Eternatus. So maybe?" Rainbow Dash shrugged.

"You won't know unless you try," Chrysalis said. "Go. Save your home, free Discord and stop Zekrom if you can. No use in just standing around, right?"

"Right!" Twilight nodded in agreement as everypony turned around, already ready to head off and do what needed to be done. Some saving and the hopes of stopping a rampaging Dragon. They all either flew or ran out of the healing room with some of them heading separate paths. "Oh and uh...T-Thank you, Queen Chrysalis!" She then thanked Chrysalis for the first time, showing that they've truly buried the hatchet after the Royal Canterlot Wedding.

"You're welcome."

Machamp was outside waiting, still in his Gigantamax form. Unfortunately, with how big he is, Machamp might not be able to get to Ponyville quickly in time. After all, he had just arrived at the Changeling Hive in the Faye Mountains later than everyone else.

That's where Pheromosa came into play. Rarity already had the Lissome Pokemon out as Pheromosa picked up Rarity, Applejack, Starlight and Trixie. Thanks to her tall stature, she could hold many ponies as Sceptile used his vines to latch onto Pheromosa as always.

As for Machamp, the Superpower Pokemon could actually help against Zekrom considering his immense size and strength as well. So the Gigantamax was here to stay until it either runs out or Machamp gets knocked out of it. Either way, Big Mac wouldn't be heading back to Ponyville as soon as he wanted to at this rate.

"I'm surprised you're coming along for this Trixie." Starlight turned to Trixie.

"Yeah, well, I still wanna head back to my school for safety but...I can't leave a friend behind in danger with all of this invasion stuff happening can I?" Trixie smiled at Starlight, basically confirming that even if the stakes are too grand for Trixie herself if a friend is involved, she'll help out. "But I am pretty terrified right now."

Mew transformed himself into Rayquaza as Pinkie Pie sat on his back. Spike got out his Salamence with him, Axew and Deino taking a ride. Those with wings would just fly.

Cadence and Shining Armor would just head back to the Crystal Empire in case new invading forces showed up or if Zekrom appeared there as well. As for Flurry Heart, she thought of heading back to the Canterlot mines, but now that her cover's been blown, she just had to help.

And she chose to help her mom and dad of this world. Adagio and Arcanine however, stayed behind to watch Celestia and Passion. They were too close to them to ignore. They couldn't leave their side. Everyone was now on the move.

Meanwhile.

"Right here." At the moment, Mayor Mare and Cold Colt were searching for Big Macintosh and Machamp to bring him back to Ponyville and the shelter for safety. Stoutland had used his amazing sense of smell to try and track them both down. Yet again, dog-like Pokemon and their great noses are always useful for almost any situation.

"Stout." Stoutland and the others had come across what seemed to be a gigantic footstep. One that belonged to the Gigantamax Machamp.

"The footprint resembles a Machamp footprint." She observed. "But larger than normal. Could be the result of all the Dynamax dens here."

"Oh! He's probably become a Gigantamax Machamp!" Cold Colt jumped up. "I totally wanna see that!"

"We're getting close then. Dynamax Pokemon are slower after all. Let's keep searching." Mayor Mare nodded as Stoutland continued the search for Big Macintosh and Machamp.

"Stoutland."

Twilight and the others were making their way towards the Everfree Forest to remove the certification from Discord's body. Pheromosa blitzed through the land as she moved in front of everyone. But thanks to Mew transforming to Rayquaza, anyone on Mew's back could gain some great speed too. Twilight and Fluttershy chose to switch over and ride on the back of the transformed Mew while Rainbow Dash just used her natural flying speed. Machamp was far behind however he would be dealing with any ships in the air and the rest of the invading forces.

Right now, they were near Exploud Valley. Meaning that Ponyville wasn't too far from here. Just a few more minutes and they would be there. So far, in the distance, they could see the silhouette of Machamp taking out multiple ships from the invading forces. Machamp truly was the biggest player in this entire scuffle between two sides.

However, the silhouette of Machamp would quickly be blocked out by the arrival of grey clouds. The sun had also been masked by the clouds as the sound of thunder started rumbling. Everyone else looked up to see the sudden change of weather.

"Seriously? Of all the times..." Rainbow Dash groaned. "Let's hurry before it starts raining."

"We're almost there. Just a bit more. Hopefully, everypony's safe in the shelter." Twilight said while on Rayquaza's back.

"Positive they are," Goh said. "I mean, after all, Delia even suggested taking shelter over at Pallet Town for everyone. It's just as big as Ponyville too."

"They wouldn't think to look at Pallet Town, would they?" Fluttershy replied.

"Well, if they're looking for Ash then maybe." Pinkie nodded. "Besides, there's no way they can invade the Pokemon World. I mean, that place is insane! RIght Spike?"

"Yeah. Journeying at the Pokemon world show you just how wild it can get. I mean, I was just minding my own business when a Tenta-" In the spur of the moment, before Spike could tell a short story, his senses went off along with Salamence, Axew and Deino. Spike gasped afterwards before looking behind him.

"Oh!"

"What is it, Spike?!" Twilight noticed Spike's sudden pause and gasp.

"A dragon...Over there!" Spike pointed to the left side of the sky. "A dragon's coming this way!" Everyone heard Spike's cry as they all faced where he was pointing.

All at once, they all turned their heads to the left side of the sky. And just like Spike all of them equally gasped as their pupils shrunk once feasting their eyes on this supposed Dragon.

The clouds closed in, gaining a deep black colouring that banished any form of light. Thunder started rumbling as yellow sparks could be seen flashing in the clouds. A looming threat had emerged as the grey clouds then started spinning around.

"What's happening to the clouds?!" Rarity exclaimed.

"Something's swirling inside of them!" Rainbow Dash noticed as the spinning clouds started descending, forming a tornado shape as they had reached the size of a mountain. Out of the clouds, lightning bolts started flying everywhere, including the ones above. And within the clouds, a silhouette appeared. But it wasn't the silhouette of Machamp.

A giant black wing burst out of the clouds. And another. Then two more but in the shape of hands with claws added to them. An ominous red and purple gaze flashed within the deep black clouds. A grizzly growl followed after the flashing of the eyes as blue sparks of electricity wrapped around the black tornado.

Afterwards, the blue electricity started expanding, covering the whole cloud until it was turned blue. And then finally, with one giant burst of electricity and a thunderous booming sound, out emerged the rampaging Deep Black Pokemon, Zekrom.

"What is that?!" Trixie screeched as she held on tightly to Mew's transformed back, intimidated by Zekrom.

"It's Zekrom!" Twilight gasped as Zekrom charged towards its new targets. One of them reminded him of the pony that brought this senseless rampaging to him by force. Empress Twilight Sparkle. The Deep Black Pokemon brought the devastating clouds of volatile lightning with him along the way.

"It's coming this way!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed as the turbulent wind pressure from Zekrom's flying had blown everyone's mane and hair. The first target of Zekrom was Mew who was currently a Rayquaza.

The Deep Black Pokemon found the perfect opportunity to use Fusion Bolt again. With his tail illuminating a light blue colour, Zekrom coated his body in a sparking blue sphere of 20,000,000 volts of electricity. Afterwards, he burst through the air, leaving a lightning sonic boom of all things before moving at breakneck speeds.

"Ah! Look out!" Rainbow Dash noticed that Zekrom was heading straight for Twilight, Fluttershy Pinkie Pie, and Goh. All who were on Mew's transformed back. To act quickly, the pegasus used her own sonic boom to try and stop Zekrom.

Both her and Zekrom few at equal speeds as it seemed, but the moment she got close to the giant sphere of electricity that surrounded the Deep Black Pokemon, Rainbow Dash was struck by one of the frantic moving volts that sparked around Zekrom, smiting her.

"GAH!" Rainbow Dash felt all of those volts go through her body as she could already feel herself going numb. Before she knew it, she lost her balance of flying and began falling.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight and the others cried out, looking down to see their friend fall with sparks of electricity trailing out. Rainbow Dash couldn't stop Zekrom. Thus, the Deep Black Pokemon struck Fusion Bolt onto the tail of Mew's Rayquaza appearance.

One hit and Mew felt all of those volts also course through him. In his Rayquaza body, Mew had been sent flying by the powerful impact of Fusion Bolt.

And with that, everyone riding on Mew's back were also sent flying as well, screaming. Twilight, Pinkie, Goh, Fluttershy, the statue of Discord and the Pokemon onboard had all fallen off after being hit by Zekrom's Fusion Bolt.

"M-Mew!" Mew then reverted to his normal self as he was falling alongside everyone.

"Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!" Only screams could leave their mouths. Audino had held Discord's statue close to her, making sure that it is fully protected. But with how high they were all falling that may not matter.

Luckily, wings existed and Twilight and Fluttershy were safe as Fluttershy held Scorbunny in her hooves. Along with Togekiss who spun through the air before swooping over, catching both Trixie and Starlight on her back.

"Togekiss!"

"Thanks, Togekiss!" Goh thanked the Jubilee Pokemon. Speaking of swooping in, Salamence soared downwards, watching Audino and the Discord statue on his back.

The adult Spike managed to successfully catch Rainbow Dash earlier, carrying the pegasus on his back. But there was the issue of Goh, Pinkie Pie and Mew. Mew had taken a heavy hit from Fusion Bolt, causing him to spiral out of control. He couldn't transform into a Pokemon right now and he was close to the ground while Goh and Pinkie were screaming at the top of their lungs.

"Sceptile! Catch 'em!" Applejack commanded from below.

"Scep...Tile!" The Forest Pokemon could handle this. Pheromosa slowed down for a bit, allowing Sceptile to properly focus on his targets. Sceptile held his arms out as multiple vines shout out from the edge of his bladed leaves and even back. These vines have always come in handy every single time.

And this was one of those times. The vines wrapped around Goh, Pinkie and Mew each, covering their entire bodies with multiple layers of vines for a softer landing. After doing so, Sceptile then pulled the three of them towards him, adding more layers before holding them each under his arms.

"Sceptile!"

"Oh! Thank you so much, Sceptile!" Pinkie Pie said to the Forest Pokemon.

"Tile!"

But it wasn't over yet. Zekrom was going for another attack. This time it was Hyper Beam. Just like with Manehattan, the Deep Black Pokemon was going to level everything in one single blast. And he might level the entirety of this landscape and beyond as he started charging up one behemoth of a Hyper Beam.

"Hyper Beam?!" Fluttershy wheezed. But it wasn't just Hyper Beam, out of the clouds, giant blue thunderbolts started raining down as well. Zekrom was both charging up Hyper Beam while manipulating the clouds themselves. An array of bolts came crashing down, aiming directly for Twilight and everyone else.

Anyone in the sky was going to have a bad experience. Twilight and everyone else who were within the air started dying around, trying their best to avoid the approaching bursts of lightning as much as they could. But Zekrom's lightning was no ordinary lightning. Not only was it faster but it could also scorch the earth itself.

"Fluttershy! Spike! Can you two calm it down?!" Starlight said while lightning kept crashing. "One of you can even calm dragons down!"

"I'm trying but...!" Spike actually had his claw out, trying to reach Zekrom from a far distance instead of up close. But when he was actually showing signs of doing far distance communication, his claw was immediately burnt. "OW! Z-Zekrom's too enraged!"

Due to how fast the lightning bolts were, one of them landed right in front of Pheromosa while she was running, not only causing a visible hole and scorched part of the ground, but some of the volts scattered, latching onto the Lissome Pokemon's legs.

"P-Phero!" Pheromo cried out after feeling all those scorching volts interact with her as she lost balance while running. The Ultra Beast immediately tripped over, dropping Rarity, Applejack, Starlight and Trixie.

The four ponies themselves tumbled on the ground after Pheromosa tripped. And Pheromosa also tumbled as well, taking damage along the process. Sceptile's vine latch onto Pheromosa went out of control because of Pheromosa's trip. He also went flying with his vines ripping off. "Sceptile!" The Forest Pokemon almost ended up dropping Goh, Pinkie Pie and Mew because of this but he managed to retain his balance.

"Ugh!" Rarity and the others groaned after tumbling on the hard rocky ground. After that, Zekrom had finished charging Hyper Beam, deciding that now was a good time to use it. And when he did, it immediately expanded to the point where it could potentially consume everyone in the sky and ground below.

Twilight and the others looked back to see the astronomical beam coming their way, ready to engulf them in its destructive fury.

"Audino!" Not allowing for any of that to happen, Audino stepped up to the plate. She placed Discord's statue down on the back of Salamence as she personally tapped Fluttershy's Mega Stone.

"Huh!? Audi?!" Fluttershy gasped as Audino had personally activated Mega Evolution herself instead of letting Fluttershy do it. The golden and red lights shot out of both stones as the Hearing Pokemon put her arms out. In that instance when the Mega Evolution energy covered her, she had used the move Protect, casting a large screen at once.

"Audino!" Audino cried out as she entered her Mega Evolved form. She was going to protect all of her friends from Hyper Beam with Protect.

But if even Celestia and Passion couldn't do it, could Audino?

"M-Mew...!" Mew saw this as he opened one eye as the bright light of Hyper Beam covered the sky, shining all across his and everyone's body. Audino closed her eyes, ready to try and hold Hyper Beam back. Mew knew that she couldn't do it. The New Species Pokemon didn't want to lose all of his friends right here. "Mew!"

So, in an attempt to try and save everyone, Mew converted all of his Psychic energy to perform one major action that he hopes will save everyone and himself. Psychic energy coated all of his friends including Audino herself.

And before they knew it, Hyper Beam had connected. And the last thing they all saw together was the eclipsing light of the Normal-Type move. And similar to Manehattan, a flurry of explosions met the ground below, obliterating everything inside. The only difference was that there were no buildings nearby so it was only the landscape that took the damage.

Anyone nearby fled in fear or hid in their homes, mainly the Pokemon. Zekrom closed his mouth as had torn the ground in half from Hyper Beam, leaving a massive mark on Equestria once more.

But when the beam faded, Twilight and everypony were nowhere to be found. After witnessing that, Zekrom roared as his eyes flashed purple again. He boosted through the sky, flying off to continue his rampage.

As the journey continues.
