The fact that she know's the dangers means she's safe to teleport with. Also I believe the reporters will be giving up soon, based on the fact that Twilight will start killing their story boners with Magiscience jargon.
As a firm follower of the technobable is the best answer lifestyle... this chapter pleased me in a great way. Seriously though this was a great chapter. Luna feels like Luna and every character comes to some part of life.
5074157 I was referring more to these spells Twilight burned to keep them from being used.
Twily has an interesting way of dealing with the press.
Incidentally, never ask Princess Twilight Sparkle about something; the worst thing she can do is tell you.
5075177 Oh, Weeaboo's Spell-Scroll?
It was a collection of spells crafted by a very talented but eccentric pony from the Unicorn-only nation of Neighpone. The 'eccentricity' came as much from being extremely powerful as well as a few other factors, such as being effectively exiled to an island by the Empress of the time, being completely isolated from the world and having to 'entertain' himself using a Mirror Pool.
He's actually imprisoned on the island and is only allowed off on the orders of whoever sits on the Heavenly Jade Throne at the time, and as such his 'Spell Scrolls' are both rare and something of a 'Dark' Collector's Item given the negativity that, fairly or not, is associated with the Sorcerer and the contents of said Scrolls.
Poor guy went a little bit weird from the isolation and the persecution complex he was lugging about, but he's still kicking around on his island, as Luna mentioned in an earlier chapter when she mentioned that she and Celestia had travelled to Neighpone to assure the current Empress that Luna's return did not mean Equestria was going to be a threat to the other nations. Take a wild guess who got Luna hooked on video games in this setting.
Given the age of the Scroll, the different in the languages between Equestria and Neighpone, and the cultural differences that would have made the translation even harder, Twilight went through several different 'translated' Scrolls before making a 'perfect' one that she stored in her basement as much to avoid public embarrassment as to keep it safe.
It's the Pervert's One-Ring.
Well good going Twiliy, you scared Luna again.
Huh, and apparently I now have '0' stories to my Tag.
Huh.
Is this a bug or have I done something wrong/missed something vital? Again.

While it's not directly affecting my enjoyment of the story, the level of exposition is getting worrying at this point. This story is complicated, and with all the details these in-depth explanations add, it could very well become too complicated to fully enjoy...

Uhhh, dude? There are 20 Rings of Power, not eight....
"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie..."
So, yeah, You forgot a couple people.....
