not before i get a piece of you first
Sorry sir you will have to wait as I'm still working on fixing stuff after my take over of Hell. Truly sorry for the inconvenience this repair and reorganization might have caused.
hehehehehe, raise of hoove who think twilight going to end up have melt down and end up going insane before the month is out
Three fat bellies and three new blows to Twilight's sanity coming up.
I will drag you away from hell in a hug and drop you before Celestia so she can thank you for making Twilight and Luna a happy couple.
So Luna is like Hillary Clinton now?
7552027 Only insomuch as she had 'husbands' who slept with the 'help', I'd guess?
I'm not american, I don't follow yank politics because every time, it seems to be more and more 'who can slander more effectively' and less 'who will run the country well and protect the peoples' interests'.
7552379 sadly that about sums up our politics. It's gotten so far from what our founders intended..... Sigh.

Essentially, Hillary Clinton used a private server for her official emails, which was the equivalent of leaving them under a rock in the woods as far as security goes (not that the official State Department email system was any more secure, of course). She also used the same address for both personal and official emails because she was barely computer-literate, and resisted making her personal emails public because she was afraid that the press would misrepresent them as proof that she was having lesbian infidelity or something (Cadance worries about similar things in chapter 51 and in Hillary's case it can reasonably be considered justified).
(BTW, Colin Powell, her predecessor, flouted the rules by intentionally using systems that did not store the contents of his official emails, whereas Clinton actually made an effort to preserve hers.)
Also, people like those who run Breitbart.com view Hillary and the incumbent President as would-be tyrants intent on altering the fabric of the country beyond recognition, destroying the military with reforms, moulding the court system to not always side with the rich and powerful, et cetera, and view the incumbent President as inherently illegitimate because of his allegedly foreign birth. Come to think of it, those are precisely the main grievances of the Shadow Council against Celestia and Luna. And I remember aristocrats lamenting that Celestia had ruined the military by letting commoners and non-unicorns serve as commissioned officers and even generals.
The only thing discordant with this analogy is that in the fic the Shadow Council is disingenuously hammering the Royal Guard for police brutality even against those they view as subequine, when in real life the anti-government fringe normally only condemns police brutality against armed white terrorists like the Bundys. But the Royal Guard is a national police force loyal to Celestia and Luna whereas most police brutality in real life (at least in the US) is committed by local police headed by local officials, so a more apt comparison would be to when President Kennedy mobilised the National Guard to enforce civil rights laws in the South during the Civil Rights Era (that was famously one of the charges against him on the infamous "Wanted for Treason" poster).
Poor Twilight, I look forward to shining armour and Cadance finding about luna and twilight. What I'm not looking forward to is Cadance being a manipulative bitch.
7552745 As far as Cadence is concerned, the Changelings are the greatest threat on the continent right now, as much for personal reasons as the actual military threat that Chrysalis's hive once presented. As far as Cadence realizes, this is just another ploy. Things may change when she sees Chrysalis's state and how many Changelings are actually left, if she will believe the evidence that is, but it is going to take time for Cadence to trust a Changeling, and she'll likely never fully forgive Chrysalis for what happened between them.
Celestia, on the other hand (hoof?), has survived and beaten Discord, Tirek, Dragons, and several large armed conflicts with Gryphons, Minotaurs, Diamond Dogs and even with and between her own Ponies. In her own words, she's reformed necromancers, bandits, warlords and murderers and turned them into Ponies that later generations consider saints and paragons. There's also more at stake here, especially considering that every Race has an Immortal ... so what does that mean for a created race that is not part of the Powers' plans for Creation?
Cadence is seeing the Changelings as a massive threat. To Celestia, it's just another monday. It's a difference in perspective and something they're going to have to hash out, because asking Twilight to go against her mentor when she's in this mental state, even for the 'right' reasons, is probably going to send her into a mental tailspin unlike anything on record.
7555022 let us hope Luna can keep Twilight grounded and relaxed.
I'm almost ashamed to say it took me this long to read Twilight going Sherlock in this chapter.
