After an afternoon of trying to fit a dress onto Rainbow Dash, Rarity finds that her friend has a secret, so Rarity takes it upon herself to discover what that secret is.

Rainbow Dash has a secret. A secret she has kept since she was a little filly. If it gets out, it could be the end of her reputation, the end of her carrier, and even the end of her friendships.

And what's worse, is that a resent shortage threatens to expose her.

Rainbow Dash is the coolest and fastest pony ever! Everything is going her way lately! Nothing can stop her!

Though she is starting to feel not so awesome. Her mood swings a lot, she doesn't feel too well, and she has gotten some strange food habits.

Taking a friend's advice, she goes to the doctor to find out what is going on. She gets some news she was not prepared for, neither was her friends.

It is Equestrian tradition that, when a pony comes of a certain age, they are given a magic timer that counts down the days until they're destined to meet their soulmate. Rarity was very excited the day she got hers.

She just hadn't expected it would be counting up.

Short ficlet based on a prompt I got on my Tumblr blog. Original prompt was to write a drabble set in a universe where "timers are set on the wrist of every person once they are a certain age, slowly counting down until the day they meet their soulmate".

Twilight has just ascended and become Equestria's newest alicorn. Her friends are in awe, and Twilight herself is in shock.

So when Princess Celestia arrives, she isn't sure of what to say to her mentor. But she is sure of one thing, whether Celestia is prepared for it or not.

Celestia's response is not what Twilight ever expected to hear.

After her coronation as sole ruler of Equestria, Twilight could really go for some ice cream.

The main six have very complicated lives. On top of their everyday tasks, and dealing with the problems of living in a town near The Everfree Forest, they also have the weight of the world on their shoulders. I became a pony known as Lauren Faust, the mother to Celestia and Luna. Now I’m living in the Canterlot castle; I have a bunch of royals acting like children, changelings running around, and an ancient alicorn prankster stuck inside my head. All I can say is things get a little hectic.
