Life for a superhero is tough, but life for a rookie superhero is the breaks. From the depths of the cosmos descended a single stone, which started everything. When Twilight picked it up to study it, she didn't expect it to thrust her and her friends into different worlds. Being split up in the vast multiverse whose existence they've only discovered now, was already hard enough to handle. But they are now forced to fight against all odds and new enemies for the hope of getting back home.

Prince Shining Armor's coronation is drawing near. But recent events have him thinking back to a time shortly after he first gained his wings and became an alicorn.

Taking part in a royal summit held at the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor struggles to adapt to his new alicorn status. But that night a new problem presents itself when an unexpected intruder manages to steal his crown and get away.

Forced to pursue the thief through a magical mirror, Shining finds himself in a world unlike any he has seen before. A world populated by creatures called humans. And if he wants to gets his crown back, he'll have to deal with a particularly nasty human called Sunset Shimmer, the very thief he's sworn to apprehend.

What if instead of a chest, The tree of harmony gave Twilight a book with strange writing and a heart shaped gem on the cover. After reading a mysterious rhyme: "When the time is right. Underneath the same light. A bond will ignite. At very first sight." The Mane Six, and Spike, are all magically sucked in and they travel to a world with no ponies or magic, but humans and...bending! People who can control the four elements of nature. With no way to get back home, they stumble upon a new friend: Avatar Korra, a fiery but big hearted young girl with an extraordinary destiny. Upon first glance, the Ponies all feel an instant connection with the young girl, who might also be the key to them returning to Equestria and uncovering the secrets of the book, while at the same time help Korra to defeat an evil masked man named Amon who vows to rid the world of bending with his mysterious and terrifying powers.

Now the ponies will need to adjust to their new environment: a whole new world where people seem to loose sight of friendship almost too easily, but Twilight sees that there is hope, as they show Korra the ways of Equestria and with that, the ponies and avatar start to change their world for the better, by helping everyone see that Friendship is exactly the kind of magic that this world truly needs.

Together the four of them must face the dangers of this world, master crafting techniques, explore other dimensions, and face whatever challenges are thrown at them, all while seeking a way for Pinkie and Octavia to head home.

Now, the Equestrian Heroes are once again called forth to another adventure, where a great evil threatens the two worlds, and the Power Stars will choose their greatest defenders.

The Storm King is beaten, Equestria saved and the world our ponies know of has expanded. With the Friendship Map growing more complex, Twilight has realized the Magic of Friendship can't be protected by her and a handful of friends. To help spread the Magic of Friendship, she decides to open a school, and invites creatures of all different shapes and sizes. Changelings, Dragons, Griffons, Hippogriffs and Yaks are only the first few creatures that'll be attending with the ponies of Equestria.

But Twilight and her friends will soon discover that learning about friendship and teaching it are two very different adventures. And when a force of arrogance threatens to close the school unless if conforms to their way of teaching, Twilight's dream will soon be put into serious jeopardy.
