After enduring the task of adapting to being a filly and helping to stop a potential disaster from occurring, one would think that things are finally turning around for me. Sadly... fate will never be that nice to me. Now I have deal with ponies knowing that I was originally an alien, Twilight's desire to learn everything I know, as well as training a team of ponies to handle any interdimensional issues that could come to Equus thanks to Celestia's recklessness. My life just keeps getting worse.

Oh, and everypony said I'm also going to have to go through something else, but I didn't understand the word. Just give me a moment as I look it up. I think it started with a p.

I was just hoping to get this last job done, always getting sent to this dimension or that, always doing the interests of others. Trafalgar D. Water Law was a lucky man. Doomed to die at a young age he became a pirate, wishing to only cause misery to those around him. He would eventually become one of the most feared captains on the Grand Line.

It was during his coup against his former leader, Donquixote Doflamingo, that his luck finally ran out.

Fighting a losing battle against the Heavenly Demon, he fell in battle. But, he did not die. No, he instead finds himself in unknown lands surrounded by midget horses and other beasts.

Normally he would approach this situation with the same cold, calculating indifference he usually portrays. He finds himself losing his patience, however, when a creature known as a Changeling decides to follow him around.

Ponyville, Equestria. Population 5000.

Fallow Meadows, Indiana. Population 8000.

Two towns, two species, two worlds.

But worlds will collide when both are hit by mysterious storms that transport them to a third world unknown to either. Trapped in a place hostile to them both, can human and pony learn to work together? Well, yeah, the story wouldn't be called Unity otherwise.

The real question is what happens when it turns out that they are not alone...

This story is a sequel to The Unity Pact 2: Shaking Foundations

Catalyst and Starburst, two educated specialists of magic. Each is a representative from opposing sides of an invisible war which has been waged for dozens of generations. Watch as they attempt to find a compromise in what they believe. The tales and misunderstandings of longtime bitter enemies will be revealed in this short scene revolving around two individuals who, under different circumstances, would be ready to fight each other on sight.

Idol Hooves holds a special place in Equestria. He's probably the only exiled changeling to serve in the Royal Guard, or at least, that's what he expects, as exiles don't really broadcast that fact. However, it's well known that Princess Celestia loves all of her little ponies, and her guards perhaps more so, and that makes it one of the best ways for a changeling to discreetly feed.

But how does a changeling even get there, let alone get exiled in the first place? For that matter, why would it ever go to Canterlot? Set a number of years before the series proper, before Luna’s redemption, Idol details how he was exiled, the ponies he’s met, and the series of misadventures that led him to joining the Royal Guard, and should continue a good ways into the series, as something of an alternate perspective.

Soon, he’ll have to deal with a boisterous new princess to serve and a royal wedding in the works bringing a third to power. Will his old instincts bring this new life crashing down around him? What precipitates Chrysalis’s ill-fated assault on Canterlot? Is it really so wrong for a changeling to enjoy good craftsmanship to an obsessive degree?

This story is a sequel to Upheaval: Reckoning

Equestria's fragments have reunited, and the power of sunlight shines once more within Celestia. With the remnants of the Old Kingdom destroyed, the Abyssal Throne sent away, the threat of Gravitas defeated, and Black Rose no more, Equestria now faces the encroaching darkness of Oceanus and his rebels.

But the stage is not yet fully set. Twilight Sparkle and her friends must gather what means they may before the battle is joined.
